Terrible Ride
The ride on the standard suspension is not soft, but neither is it firm, kind of what you'd expect for a standard road/sports car I'd guess. That's why many people go for something a little firmer.

Yes, your sub should have run out on about 14th March. You should have been notified by email, so check that your profile email address is correct and make sure that the forum email won't get caught in a spam filter. Cheers

Measuring wheel sizes
- Measuring wheel sizes
The width is the inside measurement between the rims and should be approx equal to the external distance between the tyre sidewalls. Must be a diagram somewhere ...- Recomended Brake fluid
Probably only a litre, but if you only buy one you know you'll run out before you finish !- Recomended Brake fluid
There are two, I always use the "super" version :- http://www.castrol.com/castrol/productdetailmin.do?categoryId=8290045&contentId=6007556- petrol in the oil!
Ahh, well worth doing a compression check etc then. At least you have an easy opportunity to replace the wiring loom and all the water hoses that spring a leak.- car gives me shocks
The car has no earth - it's essentially insulated from the ground by the tyres ! Hold on to something metal as you get out (difficult on cars these days) and you won't get a shock. Or touch the door with a key or even a friend to give them the shock !- petrol in the oil!
Just flush the dirty water out and replace with clean and use about 20-30% good quality anti-freeze. Don't worry too much about the oil smelling of petrol, just get some new stuff in there and take it for a good run. Then if you have a problem start worrying !- is it possible to be in safety boost with code 55?
Yes, it is supposed to be there, not sure what it's function is tho.- Koyo radiator
Been running close to 14psi for years and only had a standard rad. If the water temp is close to the thermostat working temp then you don't need a larger rad. However, on hot days, especially the blast back from Le Mans last year the temp was around 95-97C.- Attn: Chris Green
Received your cheque for membership, don't know your forum name though. Please let me know. Thx- What's this lead
Doesn't look standard Nissan to me- Recomended Brake fluid
Oilman will sell it. I use Castrol Response Super DOT 4.1, compatible with many other types and available in Halfords etc- Hoorah for having the post count back
Holy cr@p, when did I get time to make 10,000+ posts !?!- fitting discs
A good 6 point 19mm(?) 1/2" drive socket would be good too, you don't want to round off the bolt head. They are as tough as hell so don't worry too much about shearing if off. Spanners won't be much good if it's too tight. If you turn the wheel to full lock then you can get a decent sized ratchet in there.- fitting discs
Give them a squirt of Plus Gas, WD40 is useless.- car gives me shocks
I just bought new shoes and now I get it all the time when I wear them - very annoying ... - Measuring wheel sizes
