  1. OEM ones are foam and often get waterlogged and soggy. Aftermarket tend to be hollow fibreglass.
  2. See here :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=658789#post658789
  3. Should be about 700-750 in park, I seem to recollect that it raises a little in drive, as does a manual when you depress the clutch.
  4. Isn't it kinda similar to the one the Z Centre sells ?
  5. Many of them have intermitten faults, I've fixed a couple of dozen of them.
  6. Yes, please send to your area rep with the rest of the requested details. Ta
  7. That's not too bad, the oil will cost you about £60 delivered I reckon.
  8. Never whistle with a mouthful of custard.
  9. FWIW I reckon this is a pretty accurate dyno. The estimated flywheel HP of the bog standard 350z was 272, considering it's done about 40K and the original Nissan quoted figure is 276 then it's pretty good.

  18. I saw an '89 car on an 'N' plate, it was that nice pearlescent yellow.
  19. Can't remember the correct terminology, but apply power to the trigger, listen for the click and check for change of continuity across the switched terminals.
  20. This has been lacquered in the past though, together with the rest of the engine bay, and it's now gone yellow-ish - yuk ...
  21. Now that the plenum is off I'd like to get it cleaned up. Don't want to go for polished as that's far too bling for my liking. Anyone know the sort of place that may be able to do this ? Of course if it's Essex/Herts or even Cheshire then that would be best for me.
  22. Was kinda working until yesterday :(
  23. So wierdos meet wierdos then ? Maybe it works out ....
  24. The fact that you know they are happening is a good thing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_scan Bottom line is, use a good firewall and keep all your software patched up to date.
