I've done some searching and the only person I find resubscribing, on the same day as you, with the same name as you is down as having the username Buz.
  4. No had done all that, spark was fine, injector impedance was OK, but no clicky-clicky from the injector, so plenum is now off and the injector rails will be off to the injector doctor I think ...
  5. ... I reckon. Have now spent ages messing around with new injector & coil pack connectors for cylinders one and six, end result is I now have 5 working cylinders rather than the 4 when I started. However, no matter what I do I can't get number 6 injector to operate, so I reckon it's had it. Bummer - that means plenum off etc etc etc

Yes, it arrived a couple of days ago and I'd forgotten to check - DOH ! Welcome. PS Can you PM me your name & address for records please.
  7. He went to the bother of sending us the money, he must come back eventually ...

I would recommend Adrian Flux or Carole Nash, just give them a call. All the 'normal' brokers don't really cater for anything other than standard cars.
  9. Bump - come on - you're confusing my accounts ! ;)
  10. And also because you have to ensure both sides are 'balanced' as it effectively runs as two separate engines off a single crank. Great read, though, where did you find it ?
  11. Fixed - something is wrong with with the automatic system, your status gets changed to subscribed and then a small number of people get set back to registered a few days later ...
  12. If he was so important I can't beleive why they had him poncing around in an unimportant match soon before the stuff that really matters. Surely he should have been wrapped up in cotton wool with a cup of weak tea and a choccy biccie.
  13. Boris said he was playing rugby !
  14. Actually, there is more than one which fit correctly. I think the one you refer to is the Carbing one, which is kinda 'S' shaped. I have one of these, which are very tricky to get ahold of and only available here :- http://www.tokyoauto.co.jp/
  15. So the new machine ONLY has SATA, no IDE for CD or whatever ? If that's the case then you've pretty much ruled out all the options. Go network would be my answer (of course!).
  16. In the 350 6th is effectively an overdrive and makes for very relaxed cruising at motorway speeds. Assuming other ratios match up, this would make for better fuel economy and potentially a higher top speed for heavily tuned cars, also assuming that the rev limit is raised a bit. It may also mean a nicer gearbox, although I find the gates to be very close together until you get used to it.
  17. The obvious choice would appear to be from a 350. Dunno what the ratios are, but I think Lymon has done it and there is a bellhousing/adapter plate available.
  18. Apart from the usual Jap coins under the seat I also found a 12mm socket lodged in the engine bay.
  19. Cheque received. Welcome !
  20. LOL - Thanks - if only that were true ! ;) And yeah, kill Norton before it kills you !
