  1. Yeah, and that's a real pain. However, it is possible for an engineering shop to mark one up accurately from an OEM pulley.
  2. Being a committee member is not easy, likewise neither are any of the other roles of the people who choose to support the club, organise meets and help out for no personal gain whatsoever. The members who care should support them. There is nothing to prevent people belonging to more than one club, we hold no grudges against people who do, but this is, and will continue to be, the largest collection of Z32 owners in the UK.
  3. Which is really the ideal situation if he's going to install a separate gearbox cooler.
  4. Yes, it was a 350Z GT500 ! Never before seen outside of Japan I think they said .... http://www.channel4.com/4car/gallery/gallery.jsp?id=2380&page=16
  5. Nice to see you back Harve.
  6. Hmmm, not sure they are exactly the same as mine, coiuld be just poor memory though. The Pace ones are a tight fit and the standard air guides only direct the air towards about 60% of the surface.
  7. Yes, it did. Thanks.
  8. No, I have a feeling it won't run at all.
  9. The gaskets are pretty resilient and I've used mine a couple of times, but a smear of exhaust assembly paste would do no harm.
  10. Hmmm, deffo Edith Bowman, but I think we've lost the track of this thread. What about Barbara Flynn - from a few years ago of course .... like when she was the milkman (lady?) in Open All Hours or the politian in the Beiderbecke Affair.

No idea how that can happen, unless there is summat funny (and configurable) with your timing light. I have a cheapo one and connect it straight to the plug - no confusion that way.

It may not always be audible given the racket an engine makes. If you have a boost controller then you wouldn't normally have safety boost either.
  13. I'm not so sure I agree with this right now .... :(
  14. I think I preferred it when Johnny had it. Humungous, no hope of realising that.
  15. Oh my word, some of those are dreadful, and I'm sure I've seen that first one somewhere before ...
  16. I'm assuming you're using a USB/serial port gizmo, rather than a traditional serial port in the back of a laptop. By default the USB com port will have a low number like 6, pick something high like 36 and try again.

Or http://www.zclub.net most people here have the 300zx.
  18. No, he's saying it's so complicated to set up that you'd never get it right and see the benefit ! LOL I suppose in theory the road has greater variation than the track so the more adjustment the better, but you'd certainly need an expert to get it close to right.
  19. Good stuff, glad to know it worked well !
  20. Are those the Rays, or the std ones ? Don't look quite right to me ....
  21. Yes they do. I think Lymon posted a pic, try a search.
  22. 4. Did you bleed the ABS unit too ? How do you manage to bleed anything unless you have two people or a one person bleeding kit (or those cunning one person bleed nipples) ?
