Yeah, but the thing about this stuff is it's so highly diluted. 100cc or so in 70 litres of fuel, this is like homeopathy for cars ... ;) I did get my injectors cleaned ultrasonically and it runs very much more smoothly now.

It is unlikely to do any harm, also not convinced it does much good.

It won't even be posted on his own ebay account, it'll be one with good feedback that's been hijacked. Report it and/or tell the owner of the account. That's why he'll want you to contact him directly via Hotmail. No doubt the excuse will be that his ebay messge system is full ....

I had this problem and it turned out to be broken wire on the back of the ECU plug.

Yes, It's a scam. I replied to a very similar add for a 330D and the car was in Greece. The ad was taken off ebay and then readvertised on someone elses account, allegedly coming form Portugal.
