Yes, the revs should go down as you adjust the screw. You should also make sure the TPS is set right too as that can confuse things.

Connery was my favourite and Moore least favourite. Always thought the Lazenby film was underated though.

I have a feeling that the bolts are shouldered and only fit one way. I didn't take mine out myself but I watched my local mechanic do it ad he had the same problem. I think you can also loosen the bracket that holds the tension rod that bolts to the chassis. Oh yeah, and the compressor, you need a 'proper' one, not one of those battery powered things.
