  1. Hope so James be good to see you there. My pedal box is the best mod I've done but it takes some getting used too and needs a lot of bedding in. TOTB???
  2. Good to meet you too and thanks for the pic :) Yes hopefully will be able to hit Oulton Park trouble free have ironed out most of the niggles (fingers crossed) TOTB will be epic! Andy Forest did an 8.02 with a terminal of 173 mph!!! I can see him winning it again at that rate but plenty of scope to do well in the RWD class. You ready James??
  3. I did quite a few runs over the two days mostly a bit rubbish but did manage a couple of 11.9 without NOS and knackered tyres so fairly happy with that TBH. Was good to see a few zeds out there pity I couldn't stay but it was a long weekend for me and I had to get home to do my chores ready for work.
  4. I am and there are usually a fair few there. A bar and music on Saturday night was ok last yearIIRC
  5. CZP are the best by far. I paid for some front camber arms last Monday evening 10th June they arrived at my door on the Wednesday morning the 12th June!!! Unbelieveable
  6. This is a good exercise you need to build up the tissue on the shin. Hard to explain easily but the best exercise is the use the muscles on the front so actively lifting the toes keeping the heel on the floor try to mentally connect with the movement. Even sitting on the loo you can do it and if necessary can pop light weights on the foot but I've never needed to do that. Strengthening this area you will not suffer shin splints :-)
  7. needs must a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it
  8. the car looks a bit of a dog though I didn't realise there were so many shades of white
  9. Just a quick update as always pushed for time. Car is currently running around 400 at the wheels so a little under powered but we're pushing on trying to make time elsewhere. Warm up I couldn't get over 5000 revs so we didn't get a lot out of that session. The practice wasn't much better as I was suffering major hesitation at bends almost like hitting the brakes. We assumed fuelling issues so filled the tank up for qualifying. Half way through that session the gear stick came off in my hands luckily I made it back to the pits but also had a burst pipe and oil spewing. Repaired the gear stick and mended a rather large hole at last for the final session it started to feel OK but gear changes were difficult as it felt like we'd tightened the stick too much maybe. Did my best time of the day but pretty slow compared to the other guys. Still enjoyed the day and Eurospec knocked themselves out getting the car through the day. At this rate we might be competitive by Brands:-) My car is so radical it takes a lot of getting used to but I'm pretty confident that even with the relatvely low power as a package it will be competitive just need a lot more seat time. Me and my girlfriend rode single track at Thetford Forest on the Saturday. We rode the Beater twice around 20 miles then we hit the Lime Burner after lunch about 9 miles with the fabulous 'The Beast' in the middle and my girlfriend never batted an eyelid and followed me throughout. Now there's a fairly cheap day out with at least as much adrenaline as time attack lol!!! I don't have much time to upload stuff but this link is public and others often upload the odd link so there might be some interest https://www.facebook.com/bob.dixon.737?ref=tn_tnmn I can't even get my gopro working right these days so I don't have a lot of footge I'm afraid. N Nice to see Eggs and Marty at the track. I hope Marty found it interesting watching us trying to get it back on track haha. Looking like a good turn out at santa pod and I'm going to try and get a low 11 second so that's putting some pressure on :)
  10. Well if we're doing cake pix this is what my girlfriend did for me. Last year of course otherwise it would have been a cake of a crash :)
  11. My girlfriend puts up with the events where I'm competing so on other weekends I try to do what she wants. And they 'never' involve cars lol. But I'll ask her she if she fancies it.
  12. I got nothing else in the calender for August so might be worth a shot. Will have to see how the next month pans out before committing but I am interested. Rockingham is a great track but I haven't been there for a couple of years and I have only ridden bike so would be good to see how the car runs.
  13. Lol yes that's true but I know the debate is about ratios :-)
  14. Well if I hadn't had such a major setback at Cadwell I might have tried a tt diff at some point but we are still low on power so the na diff is correct. I get the feeling that the tt diff would be the better option with plus 500 bhp but haven't been able to test it so far. I might give it a go later this year :-)
  15. I'm using an na diff but it doesn't suit all the tracks and might be better off with the tt diff tbh.
  16. I was actually running less than 400 at Croft got more power in my road car lol. Hoping to dial some power back in ready for Snetterton but we shall see how it goes next week but you're right it is suited to big power.
  17. Great stuff :)
  18. Hi Darron No me and Martyna will be riding single track in Thetford Forest on the Saturday. Sunday will be the 200 circuit and the trackday will be the 300 as far as I know. See you on the Sunday :-)
  19. I am happy to use a couple of the logos but cannot go on my glass will have to be for the body panels. If you've got this type let me know. Cheers Bob

  21. I'm up for this for both days and that will be my car plus towing vehicle :-)
  22. Well done Matt that's fantastic! Those tyre walls are no friend of the zed these days are they lol.
  23. I was trying to make the point that if it was ever going to happen we needed to get on with it and I certainly wasn't putting my hand up for organising the team. There were quite specific reasons why I was keen to find out if we genuinely had a team and it was important for me to find out at the earliest opportunity. I appreciate all the benefits that being part of a team can bring but based on what I'm reading here it's also clear that being part of a forum team might not be right for me personally. On that basis can you take my name off the list.
