Eibach springs
Any chance, by lowering the car by 0.8 inches will I cause my 18's to scrape off the arches. Are you using stock wheels?

Brembo drilled and groved discs
These were for sale recently on EBAY. I went to get them today but the auction was closed. They seemed quite cheap at the time. Did anyone get them or can they still be bought(I think they were only just over $200) Thanks Roy

Manual VS Auto
Currently have a manual and auto Auto seems quicker when driving normally as when you floor it the powers always there. How many times have you dropped to first gear on a manual at 30 mph ?? Dosent happen. Does on an auto though. In the end it down to personel preference, manual more of a drivers car, but I still seem to prefer the auto for power slides and town driving.

Running on 5
Problem resolved. Seemingly after 12 years attached to a very hi temperature engine the PTU connectors on both sides had become brittle and were starting to break. Th Connectors themselves due to the brittle rubbers were leaving moisture etc in to the connectors. All 6 on one side and 7 on the other had a nice green coating. Cleaned all connectors at the PTU. Fastened unit and leads back together properly and away she went 6 is far sweeter.

High mileage?
My UK car has 112K and runs sweet Original turbos no smoke. Has had lost of other work to keep her running though. MyJap Z feels so much fresher . Reason being its got a genuine 45K on the clock and new shock all round. IF you can get a genuine low mileage later Jap Z it will probably be a better buy. That said I use the Jap car for daily driving(Hardtop) And the UK Targa for summer.

Running on 5
This problem started 6 months ago. Car started to judder and then return to noramal. It dissapeared but returned last week worse then ever(6000 miles later), what transpired is shes only running on 5 cylinders. The driver side back left cylinder dosent seem to be sparking. I swapped over the ignition coil to a different chamber and it worked fine , that rulled out the coil. I got a new plug and checked that on other cylinder and thats fine too, arching nicely. So after coil and plug are eliminated where do i go next Could this be the dreaded PTU or should all cylinders go when the PTU gives up Help appreciated Roy

Stubbs
I am just after destroying one of the stubs on the rear of my Z. When switcing wheels from stock to 18's I found one of then nuts a bit hard to get on. When I went to back on the stock wheels a week later The nut had cross threaded on the stub and I was very lucky to get it off, but in the process destroyed one of the stubs. Can these be knocked out and replaced directly like for example mitsubishi Galant or do I need a whole new(secondhand unit)?? Cheerz R

Auto box woes
After 2 years I have finally got a full rebuild of my TT SWB auto Box Its finally selecting all gears but I still have problems When flooring it goes to redline in whatever gear it is in but refuses to drop to next gear. to drop I have to take my foot off the accelerator monenterily and it drops OK. The guy who did the box said my TPS isnt set up correctly so went home and tested it. I seem to be getting ridiculous values of about 8V when with throttle closed and oscilating between 9 to 13 on open throttle. I am reading between middle pin and ground. Does it sound Like I need a new TPS, does it prevent shifting under full throttle or is there more work to be done to the Box.Auto box specialist guarantted box mechanically OK. Funnily enough I did the same test to my UK spec manual( converted from auto and I am getting the same Hi voltage reading (Note: the UK car was also doing this befre I converted)) Do I have 2 dodgy TPS's. Can they be purchased at courtesy anyone got a link (Got a quote of 112 euros in Ireland from Nissan no way am I paying that) Thanks for the help Roy
