What about the lever is there any way to adjust it to stiffin the gear shift when pushing manually?

Just got my auto rebuilt for the second time in 1 year. This time I have to add the oil myself as only box was sent off. I have read from threads that she will take 8.7 litres of oil (box and convertor) I have added approx 6.5 litres and she reads full at dip stick (hot and cold) Should I add the extra 2 litres? Also since mechanic fitted box the gear lever is no longer rigid and moves quite a bit when trying to change geae manually. Peviously it felt very tight and I would only have to toucj gently and it would click between the gears. Can this be adjusted or is it in the box internals? Thanks R

Recently (especially when wet) I find when flooring her I am losing all power even though there is no lights on the dash. Not only do I lose power it feels like I have hit on the brakes. I am being thrown forward in the seat. Does this sound like total itermittent PTU failure???

Manual more reliable, Ive gone through 4 auto boxes in 5 years My manual box has never given problems No difference in speed really Auto seems to be a nicer drive though

Just found a small crack on the top radiator house. When car stopped yesterday she proceded to dump the coolant out over a period of 4 hrs. I topped up with water and the leak stopped. I have the hose ordered for replacement anyway but why would the coolant leak and the water not leak?? Any ideas

My Uk Spec car and Jap TT SWB have both been runnig on standard 95 octane for the last 4 years. I have never had a problem with the UK car but the Jap car seems to put itself into safety boost at regular intervals. Is this all down to Petrol (Jap Car Chipped) Uk car stock.?

Just fitted the Eibach Prokit with new stock shocks and am well pleased with both looks and handling. Wouldnt reccomment them on stock wheels though. cars too low My 18"s seem to raise the car to its normal height while lowering the distance between wheels to Arch
