  15. On TT.net they suggested tightening the throttle cables to get the reading down to 0.4v from 0.59v and have the TPS sitting horizontal as oppossed to as far clockwise a possible now. Whats the procedure for thightening the cables?? Thanks Roy
  16. They say to disconnect the relay on the drivers foorwell (big green one) then turn ignition over a couple of times to drain the line. Dont think this is required though. I did it a couple of weeks ago and damaged the relay taking it off. Its quite an awkward little bugger.
  17. 1994 Auto SWB I finally got the TPS circuit results. Starting off Low(throttle closed) 1.05 V Hi (Throttle Open) 4.5 v Rotated as far as possible Final value Low 0.59v Hi 4.03v Cars still wont shift from second to third. Cant get TPS to register any voltage below 0.59 Does this suggest my TPS if knackered. I tried it on my other Z 91 Uk Low 0.37 Hi 3.98 No problems with this car. How easy are they to remove?
  18. Did that search put couldnt find anything relevant surely there is a faq somewhere for this procedure?? Thanks
  19. How exactly to I do the TPS check with my multimeter. What wires do I put my termials across. Do I leave it connected and should ignition be on or off. I think it shoud be between 0.4 to 0.44 volts is this correct.
