  1. I'm sure you'd be able to find a friend of a friend who would be willing to do the paint job cash in hand Several years ago I approached a car repair place in Bromyard and asked how we could get around the £2k+ price tag of a full paint job, in the end we agreed that if I did all the prep work (which took me about 2 weeks) and if I supplied the paint, then he would sort the rest in his spare time for £500 cash in hand. He did a great job and it looked mint afterwards....then the zed went to Swindon
  2. I assume Nissan would already have a completely stock Z32 for displays etc? I remember reading an article a few years back about Toyota buying back a completely stock AE86 that was mint. It had been dry stored in an old boys garage for 20 odd years and had really low mileage....they kept it as a show piece I believe
  3. interesting subject though mate, fair play
  4. How fast are you expecting/do you want your SWB project to go exactly?
  5. I kind of 90'ish% like the Beet kit, there's just something that doesn't seem right but I can't quite put my finger on it maybe if the kit was continuous from front to back (ie. 20mm-25mm wider 'all' the way from front to rear rather than having that big gaping void on the doors) not sure if that makes sense, basically I think I'd prefer it if the doors sat fluch to the rest of the widened body + flat base on the side skirts
  6. Ginger dwarves with 3 nipples should be drowned at birth 'cos they're just evil......that is all! :whistling:
  7. Any guesstimation' on a timeline for this project mate?
  8. or "Sorry!! How was I supposed to know.....you and your sister look so alike!"
  9. That's true ^^^^ still, a proper 'tumbleweed' moment if ever there was one I'd be inclined to grab the microphone and shout after her "What do you mean, it's not the right time 'cos you've got the squits and you've shit your pants!"
  10. Gotta' feel for the mug!!! Probably didn't help, when the girl with the microphone poked his mrs in the eye with it but at the same time it serves him right for dating a money grabbing whore.....did you see the way that she examined the ring, then realising that it wasn't the £50k rock that she quite clearly dreamt of.....did a runner (probably taking his wallet and car keys with her!)
  11. This is the only real down side to Total Nissan of late, I used to buy it religiously however it got to a point where I couldn't justify paying the price and had to flick through it in WH Smiths before deciding whether to buy it or not. It got to a stage where there were maybe two decent feature car write ups and a 'technical piece' per issue and then a lot of waffle and fluff. I found last year that a lot of other questionable 'feature cars' made the pages that just weren't up to scratch More zed (Full features) are required in my opinion and not so many micras, primera's, Cubes and 8 page features on friggin' car wax!! Good to see some nice Z32's with a shot at the title, hopefully this month it'll be worth buying
  12. He did have a LH side Bride rail....I bought it thinking it was for the RH side there are a few (slightly different) RH rails on there at the moment which I've got my eye on, though this latest Sparco already has a custom rail fitted I've also got a couple of OMP rails in the loft
  13. Here are a few pics of my old Sparco seat as promised, my appologies for the quality of the pics, it's blowing a gale out there! I'll rotate them when I get a spare 5 mins
  14. I assume you've already looked on ebay mate http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-SWB-/270883945282?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3f11f0fb42
  15. Confirmed, they're not Do Luck double six possibly Works Bersaglio's
  16. Well so far the opinion is that they are either: Works Varianza V5S or Do luck double six
  17. I've just asked the question on DW so hopefully someone will have an answer shortly to me they look like Inovit or similar with a custom deep dish? edit: However as they have Rota on the car as a sponsor I would have thought they would be Rota
  18. 'or' possibly sir loves his little zed a tad too much :confused1:
  19. Now that's a tidy looking zed bud, usually I'm not a big fan of the Strosek (and Strosek type copy) bodykits. In my opinion from that angle it looks like the natural transition between Z32 and Z33
  20. which Abflug one did you opt for in the end bud?
  21. Yeah, I thought they looked familiar
  22. Was that a PSNI and Belfast Traffic Warden convention mate?
  23. I'm seeing a quad smic setup coming!!!
