  4. probably took them a while to put it in the mag, as it was the 11th June 2005 when he lost his wife :( only seems a few months ago since we had the collection, can't imagine what its been like for him and the family though :(
  5. yes m8 but the alarm doesnt know if your car is a turbo lol but as you say it happened before it was fitted cant be an issue just have to remember to press the gas lol
  6. have you got an alarm with a built in turbo timer m8??, maybe its gone a bit dicky, just when you said when you press the accelerator it dies as mine has a remote start/turbo timer and won't allow the car to be driven when remote started ie the minute you press the gas or brake the car dies,
  7. try this first Danny;) http://blogs.conchango.com/neilchapman/archive/2006/03/15/3091.aspx
  8. not actualy tried and tested EVERYTIME lol;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=80536&page=1&pp=15&highlight=fob

  10. garage owner? should be getting him to sort it m8 as i say depending on who has fitted it could be a nightmare can't understand why its locked iteslf after you started the car unless it has anti-hijack, ie on my alarm after you have started the car it locks the doors after a set period, and then when you stop/turn off it unlocks the doors as i say the way you have it sounds dangerous, you maybe miles from anywhere get out to do something and leave the engine running shut the door and locks you out, MAYBE a bit clearer if you knew what alarm it was?
  11. a few alarms have an option that when you unlock the car via the remote and don't enter within a certain time it will rearm and lock itself again id say the way you have it is slightly dangerous, ie unlock with key open door, throw your keys in start chatting to someone and shut the door if it then rearms itself your in the shite lol whereas if the alarm was working properly and you opened the door and shut it wouldnt rearm could be a faulty door lock/sensor ie wont lock via fob or depending who wired it:( could be wired via the interior light for a voltage drop, check if the interior light is coming on when you open the door? if not try moving the switch in the roof so it goes on and off when you open and close the door and see if the door still locks then? (with your keys outside the car lol)
  12. maybe best NOT to send one to the Manager? forewarned and all that, so she can have her and her staff primed with their replies to head office, or if you do feel the need to send her one? make sure its WELL after the one to the head office;)
  13. best advice you can take m8, rather than the nomal biased OTHER opinions, or are you seeing how many boos and hisses you get before deciding lol if so your asking in the wrong place we have had a supra but wouldnt dream of thinking my opinion of one is the same as others, just to say we didn't have it long, yet others see one the other side of the car park and think thats an educated opinion :nelson: go and have a thrash in one m8 and tell US WHAT YOU THINK;)
  14. as Hellraiser says to many rip offs going on lately suprised so many are prepared to just cough up with whats gone on as well??no disrepect to anyone but people REALLY need to think what they are doing before parting with their hard earned;)
  15. any good? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76583&highlight=bonnet+measurements
  16. yes m8 about it, since owning mine ive probably collected more paperwork than most would in a cars lifetime, i suspect like many on here, coming from japan any service history stamps etc could be taken with a pinch of salt anyway m8;)
  17. dvla keep the de-registration docs from japan and a couple of papers from when it lands, they dont have anything to do with any type of service papers if any available, so best to start from scratch ie get full service done etc price of the cars at the moment service history doesn't effect the price that much, and hopefully when they climb you'll have built up a decent one of your own lol
  18. Smithy are you replacing a series 1 for a series 1 or 2 for 2 etc, if not i thought you would have to change the clocks into the case?? MAYBE?? your problem m8??
  19. no but ive seen 2 other people asking about the same car toninght :nelson:
  20. maybe when you were snatching the keys off this guy and chuckling to yourself, you should have stayed and FORCED him to accept more lol
