if you KNOW who was driving, as we are both insured to drive it we aint sure who was driving on that morning :x: yes you have a legal obligation to provide information THAT MAY lead to to identification of the driver in the event that a driver is not or or cannot be identified, then the magistrates will deal with the matter and its VERY rare it will reach that point yes the problem is most people will just acept the nip from rear facing cameras, we will supply them all the info they ask via letters, they cant fine the car only the driver

seems as if they REALLY do try it on we got a nip in november for the missus, so i thought sod it ill apply for the photo (you now have to pay £10 :xxx: ) and lo and behold this morning it turned up, and how the hell they can prove who was driving, i wonder how many others have just paid cos they assumed they were nicked? well thats just saved her £60 and 3 points i went and checked the road as i wasn't even sure it was a 30mph as its a country road, although i did ask her did she not see the copper and she said DEFFO not, looks like hes a tree hugger who jumps out after you have passed :mad:

i aint no anorak m8, so half the bull that is bandied about just goes whoosh lol i rely more on what i see and up to now the blu-ray and games via his ps3 ive seen on my lads telly is THE best ive seen, he has his 360 via the component and again superb picture, but deffo can tell the difference, after seeing the ps3 i was seriously thinking of getting another for us to watch films, but as we never get time to watch them would be SLIGHTLY wasteful lol we have a couple of flashed 360's so think they will do i may get to see him using his ps3 properly when mgs4 appears lol

blu-ray does not because To utilize Blu-ray players' 1080p output, a high-definition television needs to have 1080p input capability via HDMI so unless you have the proper set up at the moment would be hard to slate it, don't get me wrong having had sky hd etc since day 1 its everything i'll need, but i THINK? the component wont output at 1080p anyway, so can't be compared, also not sure if you were going down the blu-ray route why you would want it to play on an old tv

got loads of hd stuff m8 also got them on dual layer dvds so no loss of quality and i THOUGHT they were the dogs until i saw the ps3 pictures not worth paying the cash for blu-ray players off course, but the writers are tumbling so won't be long before the players are DOWN;)

having watched the blu-ray film on my lads ps3 i can tell you m8 there is no comparison, the difference in a film on the 360 IS good (via component to hd) but no where near the quality of blu-ray via the ps3, not sure what these pictures will come out like as had to shrink the ignore the mess it is my lads room lol

to much is made of garaging the zx in the rain/winter etc lets not forget unless you have owned the car since new, it could have been parked anywhere for all you know, the imports do people think japan never has rain? makes me laugh when i hear people say "my car has never seen rain since i owned it" lol how about the 10 years before ?, as most have said as long as you keep it clean and polished and try and clean the salty shit from the roads off it it wont come to any harm do people worry when the sun is cracking the flags about leaving the car outside, wonder which does more damage the sun frying the paintwork or some rain? i would be interested in who has the most problems with the zx, those who park a cark a car up for months or one that is driven as they're supposed to be;) my missus has a 35k cayenne and we certainly dont worry about a bit of rain lol, go figure

deffo a case of scaremongering 1- i am not aware the bbc have ever done such a study 2- it hints that the tracking device costs £200, and makes it sound as if the driver would have to cough up, RUBBISH 3-IF and its a BIG if it ever comes into operation, it was talked about that it would replace fuel and road tax etc etc i think the last count there were over 30 MILLION cars on uk roads, im not saying this or any other system is right or wrong, but that figure is rising fast and something is going to go bang

actually they DON'T m8 yes they may contain some stealth info to stop m/s detecting the game/machine when played online, BUT as m/s are not at present doing ANYTHING about copied games who knows if/when m/s decide to ban 360 serials if the stealth mode will work, flashed firmware and copied games for the 360 have been about for nearly a year now and up to now m/s have done nothing

if you want cheap then thats it lol, any of the panosonic dmr's would be better m8, don't forget some of the stuff your likely to use the dvd rec' for is stuff you want to keep for a long time, and would be nothing worse than a year down the line it's lost, (or an hour lol) check these couple of reviews out http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews82594.html doesn't make confident reading, if you check a lot of reviews it comes back with the same results:( i used to use a dmr a lot for puting cam corder stuff on, but hardly gets used now with using a mini dvd cam, but occasionally use it for making copies of them and never an issue, like anything m8 depends what you want it for?

as Bantambunny says m8 the hd lead only comes with the prem' version of the 360, if you look on the input to the 360 IF it's a hd lead it will have a switch hd/tv and you don't need the hdmi socket on the telly, as it goes via the component leads. if you don't have the lead it's about £15 downwards, it DOES make a hell of a difference via a hd tv so the lead your after has the 5 plugs green, blue, red and two audios red and white (ignore the yellow as its not needed if going hd)

they are a cracking deal m8, a week ago they were over £1200 AND they have 2 hdmi inputs, so brilliant for 360/sky hd etc

i suggest you go look at them in PERSON m8 and take no notice of people that say life span of plasmas is short, they reckon 30k to 60k hours depending on make etc, that equates to 6 hours per day and could work out at 20 years 12 hours 10 years etc, are you planning on keeping a telly 10 years? we have 4 plasmas, i keep upgrading and move them into different rooms, we have 2 panosonic 42" hd tvs one in the bedroom and one in the living room, my son has a normal panosonic in his bedroom, and we have just put a 42" plasma in the room i did out for the grandaughter when she comes to stay, burn in on plasmas also absolute rubbish unless you have a OLD cheap one, if your going for plasma you HAVE to stick to panosonic/pioneers etc, and any of those WILL blow any other telly out of the water, but if you havn't got sky hd, 360 etc? then maybe you wont need THE BEST, i'm not playing the my dick is bigger than your game, but i have looked at ALL the alternatives and telly wise i only buy the best available, and after 5-6 years of plasmas i havn't seen/found anything better and WHEN a better picture on something appears i WILL buy it, i LIKE toys but can't see the point in going half measures my lad has had a 360 for a year, ive just got the ps3 for him, he has sky in his room, so a bit pointless him not having the equipment to watch it on, as i said i suggest you go in and check the alternatives yourself, don't view what THEY want you to watch, sit down in front of it, move around and check all the viewing angles (standing and sitting) and if you decide a £500 does what you want it to do then go for it, and ignore all the MYTHS about burn/lifespan etc i could buy 2 zx's for what i paid for my first plasma, now a good one is a set of wheels and tyres lol, t'vs are like tyres and cameras m8, ask an opinion and whatever people have is the best, but if you really want THE BEST lol......................................

March m8, yep not a lot you can do if it goes tits up, pays your money and takes your chance, but id say less risk than driving a Z :p

if you get chance you can buy any of them m8 ie ntsc, hong kong, or japan yep 3 different lol, ntsc and japan are 110, so will need a convertor (dirt cheap) and the hong kong one is plug straight in, ALL models/countries will play all games from anywhere in the world :)

after a few false starts on ebay, as they keep removing them when it gets to last few hours, :rolleyes: went and picked one up locally not cheap but thats my lads main prezzie sorted few interesting things, it's usa but all of them are multi game region so will play ntsc and jap' games and will also play the uk ones when released about time they went across the board (wont play original pal films) it does play copies and also plays dual layer copies, as for the game play, lol dont ask me i don't play games came with resistence fall of man and genji , so if anyone know anywhere in the uk who sells games? would prefer games only out for this as he has a 360, so pointless doubling up not really sure what the real hd picture is like, as i quickly tried it (before he came home) using the supplied lead and couldnt be arsed unplugging the sky hd, as the ps3 doesn't come with a hdmi lead nice looking piece of machinery, and as i said impressed with the multi region :)

SOFTWARE yes, ie they are within their rights to TRY and ban modded machines from THEIR live services, problem is this is all rumour and the updates in question have been screwing machines at random, not that any sensible person would have a modded machine connected to the net, let alone run updates as i said rumours that it was was modded machines m/s were after good advertising on the eve of ps3 (wonder who put the rumours out?)
