  3. Replacing lost or damaged certificates For new style test certificates (A4 size). If you have lost or damaged your test certificate you can obtain a duplicate from any MOT testing station that has been 'computerised' . For old style certificate (A5 size). If you have lost or damaged your test certificate, but know where and approximately when the vehicle was tested, you can obtain a duplicate test certificate from the MOT test station which tested the vehicle. If you do not know where the car was tested originally, you cannot obtain a duplicate certificate. You will need to have your car tested again. If the test station has closed down, your local Vehicle and Operator Services Agency office should be able to help. You can find your nearest address through one of the contact options on the link below: The maximum fee for a duplicate certificate for a car is £10.00. copy and paste job lol

  10. ?? uggh why now THE biggest market in the world to buy/sell a car autotrader has took a serious knock in business because of ebay most car traders also have regular car spots people aint gonna exactly bid on this without viewing so can't see the problem
  11. its generally the older ones that have the separate tuners m8 if your gonna buy one it will come with or without and work perfectly unless its a telly that HAS a separate tuner and they dont sell it with it lol but highly unlikely;)
  12. not sure where the post went adrift From Muffys original post he asked a question where were all the track 300's then we end up argueing that its not a supercar?????? my own 300 i havn't modded it much engine wise, so wouldn't dream of putting it near a track 3 litre tt and some odds and sods is plenty for what I WANT it for, i wish i had the time to build ANOTHER to the specs Iain, Kirbz Rich etc are doing/done, but i certainly wouldnt be putting one on the track with 19" alloys skirts/front bumper etc etc most of these track cars are uprated to hell, but how many cars stock for stock would live with a zx?? and from the specs of the guys above are building i'd put them in the top half of cars we see, and they certainly LOOK the dogs as well:) the one i have at the moment is ideal for poodling up and down motorways, and everyday life, but track nooooooooooo lol
  13. one dead pixel is NOT a reason for taking it back VERY FEW retailers would entertain you, its acceptable policy for lcds, they would end up with a shop full of screens, however as you say she JUST bought it is there not a 7/14 day returns policy?
  14. as i said m8, to much reaching the crankshaft and it cant pump "froth" round the engine so daft as it sounds with 8 litres in  certain parts will get oil starvation

  20. i would like to offer my thanks to Greg for the help given over the most trivial things to major help/advice whatever the ins and outs of "behind" the scenes happenings it's sad to see another long term member deciding to call it a day and IMO we can't afford to keep losing people like this, more and more newcomers are told to use the search, mainly because there isn't AS MANY knowledgable people about to answer them sad day :(
  21. check here m8 i THINK Danny had enquired or someone had http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76832&page=2 the organizers also put in a clause in the various contracts which prohibits commercial trading from car club/owners club space.

  23. the one on the left (yellow) is the ecu temp' sensor and if faulty or wants cleaning will cause all kinds of problems as it tells how much fuel to put in, can cause overfueling, missing etc etc try cleaning it, if it has never been off, no doubt it will be green/dirty if you try to run the car without it the fan will be on permantly
  24. good idea NOT lets all help make sky some cash lol Conversely, your computer is also part of Sky's Kontiki grid, so your computer might be used as a source location for transferring a video to another Sky user.
