Hello people, Has anyone used/seen SPLITFIRE gauges, are they any good or a bit poo. Anyone recomend any decent (not too expensive) gauges ? I'm looking for boost, coolant temp and oil pressure. Cheers Paul

Sorry, should learn to read all the reply Do'h ! Is it obvious where to put the stripes on the inside or is it a case of just guessing ? Also, a bought and fitted a second hand light unit as one of mine had a crack in it. All I did was remove the old unit and fiitted the new one, do you have to remove all of the black goo of the new light and body work and if so what did you re-seal the units with. Cheers Paul

could somebody please show me a picture of (or a procedure to do) a FULL 99 spec rear light conversion as all i'm getting is the clear lenses and i believe ther are some thin strips aswell, anything else ? help appreciated Thanx

I think it's for the FM diversity, the Z must have 2 aerials, the normal power one on the rear arch and maybe the other is in the rear window, but not too sure where it is.

The problem I had with mine was the speedo, odo and trip were intermittant, the needle would flick up to the speed I was doing and back down to zero again. I thought it was the convertor as its a jap spec (kph to mph), turned out to be the speedo is self, I removed it and resoldered ALL the components, never had a probelm with it at all !

All I did was cut off the j spec plug and fitted a standard plug from Maplin to the thicker lead

Could someone please tell me where they are (or show me a piccy) as I have rather a wobbly rear end as it were when going over speed humps and believe they are worn, and where can I get them from, how much and are they, easy to replace ? Thanx

Just had EU out and in bits, the EPROM is socketed. There is a silver label on the EPROM and all that is hand written on it is 1991 16.27 or /99/16.27 and AB9121J1. My question is, has it been chipped, and if so, with what ? Any help anyone ?

How can I tell if it's in safety boost, could it have been forced into it because somebody has messed about with the plumbing ?

I have a jap import and the needle never goes right up to or over +7, just don't know what's been done to it ?
