  3. I have been told that the R12 replacement that this company I am questioning is ISCEON 49. All I can find on the internet is that this is R413a that can/does replace R134a, does this sound bout right to you guys ? Also, is there any way to do a DIY leak test ? Cheers Paul

  10. The revs on mine actually rise when air con is switched on !
  11. My air con isn't working (need it in this heat). I think it just needs regassing but not having any history on it I don't know whats been done to it. Is the replacement gas R134 a ? Is there any way to find out if it just needs regassing with some sort of diagnostic and anything else that might be wrong with it ? How much roughly would a air con check and regas cost ?   14. Mine also does this, mine is a 92 j spec tt. Does it from around 4.5k - 5k right up to 7+k. Yesterday it dropped into saftey boost and I got code 53 (right o2 sensor) on ECU diag. John Dixon hooked me car up to consult a while ago and that showed a 'lazy' right o2 sensor. May be connections or new 02 sensor time.
  15. Just as a matter of interest (as a MAY be able to get them cheap) can a Z31 lambda sensor be used on the Z32 ?
  16. Just located and cleaned the connector and took for a run. now code 55. All 'seems' ok (for now)
  17. Hi guys, this morning I was in saftey boost, did ECU check and got Code 53. Found this on a search :- (the list from TT's of dallas has got code 53 as the right side O2 sensor.) Anyone know where this is located so I can check wiring ect. ? Any suggestions Cheers Paul
