Was gonna give boost jets a try but.......
after looking at the hoses where they need to be fitted I found the driver side one blanked off with a bolt or something with only about an inch of hose coming off the metal intake pipe. The passenger side one was there so I took it off and blew down it, it was very easy, no restriction at all. Now i'm sure this isn't right, help please guys, don't know if it's been fooked with or what. With the drivers side one blocked could there be something wrong with that turbo or what, I just dunno, is there anyone in the notts area with any knowledge that could have a look at all, cheers guys :confused:

between 200 and 250 on a jap manwell tt with 50 squids worth of optimax, alot less than 200 of you have a heavy right foot like me, then your looking around 150 give or take

Yes, same as jap as my lights packed up and folowed the diagram, exactly as it is, light turned out to be a fooked (not blown) inline fuse

How Much Is It To Replace A Clutch???
I successfully adjusted and bled mine on saturday. It was dragging and selecting 2nd quickly it would crunch into gear. As the car warmed up and got hot gear selection was more difficult and when it was really hot selecting 1st was impossible, adjusted pedal a couple of turns (b1tch to do) and bled it, now cluch bite is at the top of the pedal and not right down on the floor. Drives like new now.

Have a look at this http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi 'I THINK' all you have to do is permanently connect pin 4 of the dimmer relay (the black one) to the chassis ground, unless someone can correct me. As I look at the diagram, both the head lights and the high beam share the same ground, but when you either flash or stick high beam on, the ground switches from one to the other, linking pin 4 to ground will not switch out the headlights making all 4 lights come on.

Rear speaker question
The story so far, I bought a Sony Xplod 4x50w to replace my standard Jap unit and found that 3 of the 4 speakers had torn cones/foam. So, to start, I bought 2 6x4 for the rear 25w rms 100w peak and found that thy distorted at a relatively low volume and thought they were just sh1te. I found 2 6x9 35w rms 100w peak in my dads garage I had a while ago, so I just slipped one in as it were and did a quick comparison. It would seem that both the 6x4's and the 6x9's become distorted at exactly the same volume. Am I right in understanding that the Jap import had an optional rear amp ? Assuming that I have one and this is the problem, where is it located so that I can bypass it ? Advice appreciated

all you need to do is permanently connect the dimmer relay to ground for the main beam so it doesnt switch it out when you use high beam, i'll try and find the diagram

Both headlights packed up ! help please
Just done some checks, both L and R fuses are ok, both L and R relays are 'clicking' on/off with headlight switch and the dimmer relay is 'clicking' on/off and high/flash beams are coming on with stalk/indicator switch. The only thing I can think it is, is a dodgy ground from the dimmer relay for the dim/normal headlight circuit, would any of you guys agree ? I need to get the relay box out and check connections but there is a b1tch bolt to get to !

On sunday while going over a f***ing speed hump both my head lights flicked off then back on again, last night they both packed up, nothing at all. Is there a fuse for BOTH headlights or are they seperate ?, if one bulb goes, does the other not work either. And can some one please point me to the jap - uk head light upgrade please Cheers guys
