Timing belt adjustment by Zedworld?
My belt was changed by Zedworld & they placed a sticker on the cam cover with date and mileage on. If yours does not have a sticker or any other indicator, why not just give them a call. I'm sure they will keep records of work done, especially if not too long ago. It might just save you some worry & a job!

Bhp
I remember that Top gear episode. The difference there being that they were firstly far more than 20 years old and secondly they were 3 ITALIAN supercars in very poor condition. A Japanese car in the 90's would have been built to much finer tolerances by robots and technicians not hand built in a shed in the 70's! For what its worth my was rolling road tested at close to 340 fwbhp (1mm boost jets fitted+Zworld chip).

Hi Guys, just wondering if any of you have had dealings with Z-Autos. I am looking for someone to do my Manual conversion and Nottingham isn't far from me. Are they well experienced with the 300zx? And have you had good dealings with them? Cheers in advance!:duffer:

Ebay knock sensors....

Excellent service from Concept Z Performance
As the title really, I placed an order from CZP last Wednesday night and just over a week later it arrived. The service from them was A1, mega prompt replies to my email enquiries and best of all its has worked out a just over half price compared with UK supply. Not to mention that they had it all in stock and if ordered from the UK most of my order would have taken over 3 weeks as it needs to come from Japan. Just thought I'd share my shopping experience:duffer:

side lights
Sorry, I have just read your option 2 again, which suggests you do have 2 bulbs in your original corners. I think you need to order some OEM units. The ones Zcentre sell look like they are segmented and have 2 bulb spaces, but you could always ring and check.
-
side lights
My clear side lights have space for 2 bulbs, so if you got that sort, you could use an orange bulb for the indicator part and a clear bulb for the side light part. Some people on here move the sidelight from the Fog unit and wire it to this spare space in the indicator and get rid of the fog all together and replace it with ducts. BTW, my clear corners are OEM clear units. If you bought copies, maybe this is why you only have one bulb space. How many bulbs/spaces are in your old orange corner units?

Oh dear
Even a general comment regarding location such as county, up north, down south would be helpful.
-
Oh dear
I agree 100%, but if this is a known specialist that is regularly producing "shoddy" work then we should know about them. Surely this is one of the reasons people use Forums to get this type of information. A difficult issue though, I do appreciate this:)
-
Oh dear
With the greatest of respect to all here, IMO, this thread is pointless because with out the 'name and shame' how can we avoid the 'bad specialist'. If there are bad ones, I would like to know who they are so I can give them a miss! Its not reasonable to get work done at one place then check it over at another place immediately. And I would imagine Zedworld doesn't have the capacity to look after the entire UK Zed population. But if we know of a bad specialist, at least we can cross them off the list. No offence to anyone intended.

which front discs?
You might as well get a big disc upgrade with caliper spacers at this point. http://www.db-power.co.uk/index2.php?page=home Wish I had before wasting more money on standard size discs.

Radiators - thought the auto box rad was integrated..
Maybe your car has had a manual radiator fitted at some time and an uprated autobox cooler installed. Normally, the auto main rad has an extra core inside with 2 outlets for the autobox cooling. I.E. the auto car radiator has 4 feeds. If your current radiator has 2 unused or blanked off feeds then you have your answer. You should be able to fit a OEM non turbo rad without issue, can't speak for aftermarket parts though as many times minor changes are req'd.

Re rear wheel hubcentric spacers.
1.25 inch equates to about 32mm. So in theory you are fitting a 3 inch arch kit (I assume this is 3inch each side) then you will obviously need the bigger spacer. Even then there should be plenty of room left. If its is 3 inch total (i.e.1.5" each side) then again in theory the 1.25" spacer should be fine. I would have thought, if it was 3" each side then the 60mm spacers from Zcentre would be better to fill the arches? 3inches being 76mm. This is all under the assumption that your current wheels are being used and they currently fit correctly.
