  1. What does Nissan acually recommend originally? Vijay
  2. I meant will it be strong enough to take the impact of speed bumps etc ;) I just imagined fibreglass would crack on impact?
  3. What material would you use to make them? The only part that's damaged on mine is the small intake scoops which sit slightly lower so hit speed bumps etc :( By the way, I mean on the 2 side parts that go from the arch to to under the car ;) Vijay
  4. Not just one crack though, I've obviously gone over one speed bump too many ;) Probably do something like you've said though to act as supports but not sure what you mean by plastic tube glue? Got some Sikaflex I can use which should be strong enough :)
  5. Never thought of it burning through thin materials :(
  6. I need to repair the engine undertray parts and hoped it'd work for that................
  7. Hi, Has anyone had any experience with plastic welding with something like this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Plastic-welding-Gun-Plastic-welder-Hot-Air-Gas-Welding_W0QQitemZ300313914933QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item300313914933&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1688%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 Vijay
  8. My mate had a nightmare with his brand new VW Eos and paintwork. I was shocked to hear they were using back street bodyshops for all their work instead of anything in house. Vijay
  9. Isn't there 1 bolt on the B pillar that you have to have the window down to get to? You should just be able to put your window switches in and get the window down.
  10. Hello Al, Thanks anyway mate but looking for a permanant fix :) Vijay
  11. what's the part on there you need as I may have it ;)

  15. Cheers guys. Want a permanant fix so velcro's out ;) I'll check out the Halfords pads and 3M tape :) Vijay
  16. why would it be a bad idea?
  17. any pictures of the part you need?
  18. sure I'll need some thin stuff for the trim but I'll look into the stuff in B&Q ;)
  19. Hi, Can anyone suggest a strong double sided tape? I need it to hold my number plate on and also the outside trim on the A pillar. It needs to be able to stay in place and not peel in the sun. Cheers Vijay
  20. As annoying as Drogba diving can be, just look at the game everywhere, probably 75% grab their face when they're hit in the ankle and roll around like it's a circus. Wish there more like John Terry who only go down when they're actually hurt. It is a shame such talented players resort to that and can understand how refs have a hard job, but that's nothing to do with two blatent handballs :(
  21. That ref is a disgrace, 3 penalties without a doubt and what makes it worse is he was perfectly positioned for the two hand balls! Would love tho hear what he has to say when he sees the replays. Fair play to Barca, they scored a fantastic goal but just gutting that it was in injury time and their only shot on goal :(
  22. Believe the work was done by SE years and years ago.
  23. What one did yo uend up getting from the U.S? Vijay
  24. A friend reckoned it brought his new paint up even better when he did it (about 4 months after having it sprayed)
