  1. Cheers Stu, that's what I thought :( Anyone fancy taking a picture of it (and the grommets) so I can rummage through the many boxes of bits I have to find one :)
  2. I just don't get how they can justify the price, can't be more than 5 minutes or so a wheel
  3. so there is a metal part that holds the rubber on at the front (part 62301)??
  4. Was shocked today at prices they charge for fitting tyres. I don't need valves so it's straight fitting of my wheels and tyres and then balancing, cheapest I got was £46. One local place wanted £80 for cash so as I was on the phone, told him I'd be there in ten minutes  lol. I remember when it used to be a fiver a wheel lol Also, what's the score with filling with nitrogen? Is it to do with there's no difference between cold/warm temps? What happens if a tyre needs pumping up, I take it you can't get your compressor out and stick some air in there? Vijay
  5. Cheers bud. Can anyone take a pic if they have their nose panel off, I reckon I'm missing part 62301 which I assume is metal and fixes to the nose panel and not the bumper??
  6. Hi, On the nose panel, how does the front rubber/moulding fit onto the nose panel? Item 62370 to 62301Q in this pic http://www.300zx.lv/catalog/?gr=J&sec=650 Vijay
  7. Hi, Does anyone have any pictures or links to pictures of the doors with the panels removed? The :wack: second bodyshop removed all the runners/fixings on the doors for some reason and I want to put all the right screw/bolts back on (I have a big box of them now lol). Cheers Vijay
  8. and these small gas ones handle larger wires ok? Vijay
  9. could be the air con drain pipe which is on the passenger side
  10. so what's the difference if you gently rev the engine to driving it?
  11. do you mean the small hand held portable gas ones?
  12. Hi, Gonna have a good bit of soldering to do in the car and although I've got a 30 watt soldering iron, it really struggles on any larger wires. After reading on the net it looks like the wires act like a heatsink so the iron doesn't have enough to melt the solder. I looked at this soldering iron http://cpc.farnell.com/duratool/zd-931-89-3102/soldering-station-bs-plug/dp/SD0111906?_requestid=505273 which is a 48 watt one. WOuld it be any good? Thanks Vijay
  13. Parts diagram for front brakes ;) http://www.300zx.lv/catalog/?gr=H&sec=440
  14. Adjustable ones are a nice idea but me personally, I'd get some proper ones from Danny. Not sure I'd trust cheap and cheerful off Ebay for such an important part ;)
  15. Hi, Mine's a UK car so have the indicators and sidelights in the front with dummy corners. I actually like the indicators in the front but wonder what options I have? My real issue is that I think the plastic used on the front indicators looks dated :( Cheers Vijay
  16. Very nice mate, was looking at those myself so thanks for the pics :D
  17. http://www.300zx.lv/catalog/?gr=G&sec=401&pic=B01 if you look in the bottom right, there is another diagram which shows the tension rod, it's the bar with an eye at the end of it ;)
  18. well here's some more photoshopped pictures :D Had loads of people staring at the car today, my dog's been going nuts at the window!! lol
  19. That's where mine is, near the footwell but it's just bulky and the plastic trim doesn't fit back nicely :( Might be an idea to move it to the other side.
  20. Hi, Want to tidy up my alarm wiring and looking at relocating the main module (brain). Can anyone suggest a good place to locate it? Maybe PM me with where you found a good well hidden location for it :) Thanks Vijay
  21. And I was ready to break her a year ago, glad I didn't now :)
