I just reversed it off the recovery truck and then reversed onto my drive. Not a great feeling when you have absolutely no mirrors on the car and haven't driven a Z for so long! lol And it doesn't help when you drive a 4x4 and are so high up! :D oh and the Z's a manual and my 4x4 is an auto - things couldn't have felt more wierd!!!

Today is indeed a good day, 27 months exactly to the day and here she is, finally home :)

Yeah I am Neil. After meeting "so called" painters over the last 2 years, it's a relief to have finally met guys that can actually do what they say and it's not just about spraying a car as a job, it's about turning out a job to a standard thet everyone's happy with. Haven't let myself get excited about my car even since it's been at Custom Exotics cos i've been let down so many times over the last 2 years :( I'm excited now though!!! lol I'm still expecting it to fall off the recovery truck or something! lol

Did your first ones last though? I had 2 pairs go funny (they pitted) after about a year from VMC and they were less than helpful :(

I just don't know what to say and feel very strange, reckon I'm in shock!. Just got off the phone with Brett from Custom Exotics and my car is coming home on Wednesday night. They've finished everything (and then some) so it's time. It's 27 months tomorrow since I last drove my Z and have mixed feelings about keeping it but really hope that'll change. I'm not even sure I can get excited about it, don't want to jinx anything............................ Vijay
