  1. problem is I'd imagine tooling charges would be a stupid amount :(
  2. think you'll be very lucky to get one of them on it's own as you're about the thousanth person with this problem :( DOn't believe the metal ones are abailable anymore either. You have to get some more handles/locks and specify you want the plastic piece included. Vijay
  3. Good idea, I may have finished my car by then! lol
  4. where abouts in London are you?
  5. Hi Paul, yeah that's what Scott (bodyshop) suggested so I'm getting an innertube tomorrow. Just wondered if if there was a neater way
  6. Think Tony was spot on - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=119153&highlight=flashes Or possible in diagnostic mode??

  8. deleted cos I got it wrong :)
  9. Think Tony as almost right, it's to do with the auto box but it's not for an error, can't for the life of me remember what it is though................
  10. Hi, Anyone have any ideas to repair the rubber flap that sits over the bottom moulding on the rear 1/4 windows? Mine have just perished away over time and even the spare UK windows I have are the same :( Only ideas we have so far is to make it up out of an epoxy/filler and paint it or make a flap from a piece of rubber and glue it in place. Vijay
  11. Email sent :) Car is almost done, going up there now to talk to Scott about the 1/4 windows as we're having a small peoblem with them :(
  12. did you check the TPS is set right? Also, it'd probably be a good idea to do every connector you can get to in the engine bay as it may stop you from having problems again ;)
  13. I had a TT engine on a stand for about 2 years with no problems at all, wheeled it about and it was fine. As already said just make sure the bolts are long enough. Can email you a picture of the position of the braces if you need it. Vijay
  14. how dificult is it to change the seals? Vijay
  15. Always was one of my favourite Z's.
  16. The Skyline brakes are a good option but at the very least I would overhaul your callipers with new seals at the very minimum ;)
  17. Did you pay by credit card by any chance?
  18. Hi Matt, Can't really help you there but my advice would be to get your car running well and get used to it before you start upping the power. May be an idea to pay some attention to the brakes first too ;) Vijay
  19. Hi, I would look at the TPS which also has the idle control switch. Have a look here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=26120 number 22 is the TPS. Clean both connectors (one coming out of the bottom which is the idle switch) and you may have to reset the TPS which is easily done with a Conzult or with a multimeter http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.221 Vijay
  20. Yep, Costcos do a lovely low level one ;)
  21. Very sad news to read, can't imagine how friends and family must feel right now.
  22. of course it's a fault mate. The panasonic authourized repair place I used in in Watford, on the St Albans Road. I would tell Panasonic straight away so it's on file that it had this problem before the warrany ended ;)
  23. If you imagine a rectangle, the bolt centres are 51mm top to bottom and 92mm right to left. Those are centres to centres.
  24. can't find it, maybe I was wrong :(
