  7. Hi, Can anyone tell me what clips are used to hold the door runner finishing guide on? It's the part that the window guide runs through that can only really be seen when the window is down. It's item 80906/7 on http://www.300zx.lv/catalog/?gr=J&sec=809 and there are 4 holes, 1 round and then 3 oval shaped. The parts catalogue only shows the 1 top round clip so can anyone tell me what's on there cars for the other 3 oval ones? Thanks Vijay
  8. I might have an excellent engine degreaser so I'll post once I've tried it on something heavy duty. All I can say is I've used it as hand cleaner after messing on an engine and my hands were spotless, moved all oil from the grains of skin :) Vijay
  9. We all have off days mate, takes a big person to apologise for them so hope anyone you offended forgives you :) Viajy
  10. Cheers. Any idea if they do a wall socket with isolator included?
  11. I now know there's at least 4 different connectors depending on if yours is heated/folding etc so reckon Millsy could be spot on ;)
  12. Thanks bud, didn't know what those connectors were called ;) I'll pop into an electrical wholesalers and see what they have :) Vijay
  13. I've borrowed a mates plasma cutter which is brand new so never been installed. I assumed it would be a simple 13 amp plug on the end and away we go but it needs a 21 amp supply. The feed into my garage from my main fuseboard has a 32 amp MCB which goes into another fuseboard in my garage which splits into the lights and the plugs via 6 and 20 amp trip switches. My question is is there any way of wiring this so it can be connected and disconnected easily? I called Clarke (the manufacturer) who said to use the round 3 prong transformer type connectors but quickly looking at a Screwfix catalogue, it says they're rated at 16 amps. Any ideas? Thanks Vijay
  14. Same as Dave, made me remember what it's like in a Z ;)
  15. Got to agree, get it to someone who knows a Z and can diagnose the faults properly with the car ;)
  16. Thanks guys, found the part in question. It's a little rusty but can be saved :) And Richard, thanks for the offer too ;)
  17. Bump if anyone is taking their doorcards off :)
  18. Can I take you up on your offer then :) You tell me when, can do weekdays too if that's any good for you?
  19. Meht are you serious mate? I'd rather have someone who'd take care of my wheels too as they're refurished and not a mark on them. Only thing is do you use the stick on weights rather than the hammer in ones?
  20. Cheers bud, that's exactly what I wanted to hear :)
  21. I do understand that everywhere is struggling to make money but it's no excuse to rip people off :( at the end of the day if they were reasonable they would have got my money and I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else. By quoting stupid prices they get nothing.
  22. Thanks guys and Stu, couldn't agree with you more mate, well worth any membership cos people are willing to help :) Richard I'll have a look tomorrow as hopefully I'll have it. Something tells me that when I originally changed to an aftermarket panel, that bracket wasn't used, I just can't remember if they gave it back to me or not though :( If I haven't I'll buy yours off you :) Vijay
  23. Cheers for looking Dave. I want a more detailed picrure showing the exact screws, nuts and bolts that are meant to be. At the moment I've a mix of anything that fitted :(
