  1. I guess we only hear when it's the bad workman who stitch people up, you never see TV programmes about people who won't pay up for work :( Fingers crossed the letter will make her think twice and pay up what you're owed. Makes me sick that anyone thinks they don't have to pay for work once it's done. Vijay
  2. The standard OEM boards can't be more than 4-5mm.
  3. Have a look at the top few pics :) http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.341
  4. have a look at the 2 pipes that go into your heater, they're located there
  5. Nice to meet people after so many years too :) Vijay
  6. Hope it doesn't come to that, one of my favourite Z's and it'd be such a shame to end it like that :( Really wish you luck with a buyer mate.
  7. Pretty sure his post said he got them from Coz at Concept in the US
  8. Been thinking about your diagram earlier and would I be able to use a rotary switch with each position a different resistor? Or what about a dimmer switch? Vijay

  10. Basically I'm making a stove to heat my house and I need to control the fuel (which will be biodiesel to start then veg oil). I need to obviously be able to control the temperature of the flame so intended to have thermostats in either the stove or the flue (or possibly the heat exchanger) which will then control the fuel delivery. The main problem is the burner has to be lit manually so at the lowest setting, the fuel still needs to be delivered at a minimum flow to keep the flame alive.
  11. and buy/make a template
  12. Cheers Chris. I really don't have the electronics knowledge to do this, would you have the time to help if I bought a pump? Vijay
  13. The variable has a control knob that you would turn for faster/slower. My question is can it be modified so if a contact was closed it would run at min, another contact would be say 25%, another contact at 50% etc. so I could have different contact points/switches for different speeds. Cheers Vijay
  14. you have to remove the interior roof trim and you can get to all the bolts :) I've got one for sale if you need it, it's been sprayed gloss black but it has two small marks (slight dents) but only noticable at certain angles, there's no actual damage in the paint. It's £45 plus delivery :) Vijay
  15. Is it just the sink you have to cut in? if so a new blade will do that with no problem and Screwfix did a set pretty cheap. Don't try and do thewhole thickness in one go, do it bit by bit lowering the router bit each time. Have yuo got a template too?
  16. If anyone can help me with advice on if this can easily be done: Got a project that will be using a dosing pump like this http://www.wmcpumps.com/aquarium_dosing.htm It's variable but I need to be able to control the speed/flow of the pump by means of sensors switching on/off signals. I emailed the company and they said "they all use DC motors with voltage regulation to adjust the flow". What does that mean and can it be controlled electronically? Cheers Vijay
  17. Cheers Paul. Anyone ever had this problem?
  18. Hello bud, Classes are a good thing for sure, gives you the knowledge you need to understand how your dog thinks ;) Even if it just gets you back to the basics it's worth it IMO :) Vijay
  19. Morning, The other week while putting the fixings back on my headlight panel, I noticed my passenger side intake pipe full of water (my fault as I hadn't bothered putting the air filter, MAF and T connector back on and leaving the headlight panel rubbers off). I got underneath the car and loosened the intercooler pipe off letting the water out and I intend on removing my front bumper so I can completly remove the intercooler hoses. The engine hasn't been turned over as thankfully the battery went flat so I removed it for charging. Am I likely to have done any damage? Vijay
  20. I looked at my join date the other day and just thought hasn't life gone quick :( lol
  21. These ok? It looks like the smallest is on the front, the middle size in on the back/bottom and the largest is on the back/top :) Vijay
  22. I agree you don't have your own dog on a lead on your property but you still have to be in control of it. The fact the Stella's sisters dog "went for" the other dog doesn't suggest control. If my dog bit someone who walked onto my drive, should I not be responsible? I do agree the Police should do something about the other dog owner too as that dog was onviously not under control and I hope your Sister makes the Police do something about it. Unfortunelty it seams if your dog is deemed a dangerous dog, then that their is no gray area which I don't agree with :(
  23. Sorry but both owners to blame for not having either dog under control. You say your sisters dog doesn't have a bad bone but it's still a dog with natual instincts ;)
