  4. Been using winamp for about 2 years or so cos it plays everything. Just can't see a playlist editor in it :(
  5. Always makes me laugh, can't believe some of the people who make a fool of themselves on TV.
  6. Cheers bud. Do you know of any good playlist editors? I'm looking for one that can mix tracks together so there's no gap the end of one and beggining of the next. Vijay
  7. Hi, Been sorting out my music onto my PC as MP3 files. Should I set up a playlist for each album so I have a list of albums that I can play easily? Cheers Vijay
  8. My insurance on another car went up too when I was hit. Elephants reasoning was I was more of a liabililty on the road :wack: Seams you have to leave your car at home according to these stupid people :headvswal
  9. Totally agree with Osty1, OK if you were dropig gearboxs all the time but I did the same, a piece of wood on a trolly jack did the trick :)
  10. Well I might add a pager system to my car/alarm as I didn'tn't hear my alarm go off the other night which worries me (so will have the pager on the bedside table). So I was thinking of maybe the low voltage alarm triggering one of the pager sensors. Vijay
  11. That'd be brilliant. Would you be able to make one that switches a relay? Let us know how you've got on once you've made it up :) Vijay
  12. Glad to hear you're contemplating quiting the cigs. Thankfully I've never smoked but I saw what it did to a very close mate, ended up having a stroke cos of an anurism, the doctor put it down to the smoking causing the artery to stiffen :( Good luck with your goals ;) Vijay
  13. Does anyone know where you can get something like this http://store.qkits.com/moreinfo.cfm/FK915 My battery went flat and I only knew when the alarm started squeling :( I'm looking for something that will alert me when the voltage drops below a set figure. Cheers Vijay
  14. Always been told that Toad are one of the more reliable ones, guess it's down to installation though and from 2 alarms I've had installed on cars, you'd better be looking at some of their work ;) Vijay
  15. Yeah the one I posted a link too ;)
  16. That was one of the things I liked about the unit I looked at, you can set up an area (geofence)that if it moves out of, it automatically starts sending data so you can track it's last known journey. Obviously this doesn't help if you've parked somewhere where you haven't set up the geofence but I'm pretty certain you could wire it up to automatically send data if the car is moved from any area as it has a motion sensor. Vijay
  17. I actually thought about that this morning. Isn't it the case with an older engine the BHP would have dropped so some mods would actually just be bringing it back up to normal so no actual increase. Vijay
  18. Looked into these http://www.action-replay.co.uk/GPS/Vehicle_Tracker.htm
  19. I would say you'd need a van
  20. would it be an idea to also reinforce the join from the inside?
  21. Looks like I'm missing a rubber strip. Thank you for the pictures, I appreciate it :) They're actually under the rubber door strip, found what I need :) Vijay
  22. Thank you Naithen. Here's apic so you can see which clip/plastic rivets I mean.
