and don't be fooled by Nissan servicing as most of the dealers don't have a clue about these cars, some don't even know they are Nissan's!!! lol Vijay
  2. yep, I'm with Norton :(
  3. Yeah, I think you're probably right, I just hope they let me renew my insurance at over £900 and then put the claim through.
  4. Hi Richard, That makes sense as the guy this morning said they would only insure me on a 5k a year policy for renewal. I did notice on my documents that the insurnace is invalid if the agreed mileage is exceeded :( I just hope I get someone who wants to help me out on the phone tomorrow. Vijay
  5. His is a lease company car so I can't see him being too bothered. It'll be my insurance company claiming off his so I'm hoping mine will be ok with this. Can't believe the timing :( Vijay
  6. Hi all, Just wanted to know what happens if you exceed the limited mileage on your classic insurance. I went to renew my insurance this morning (which ends on the 20th) and I gave the current mileage. He told me I have done 3300 miles on a 3k policy and if I wanted to renew I would have to go to a 5k mile policy. I told him I'd get back to him. Then, just my luck someone goes into the back of my Z this afternoon. The guy was fine about it as it was a company car on lease but am I actually insured as I've gone past 3k miles????????? Cheers Vijay

  17. Hi, I've connected 2 pc's via a patch cable. They can both see each other on "My network places" but the slave PC cannot access my home pc's files even though I've shared them. It comes up with "\\vijayhome is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network rescource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Access is denied." The slave pc can access the internet through my home PC if that helps. Cheers Vijay
  18. IIRC it's in the locking mechanism. Vijay

  22. Hi, Trying to sort out my high idle problem and have narrowed it down to the AAC part of the IAA unit as when I disconnect the connector the idle drops back down. I think it might actually be a boost leak as I can hear a hiss when the connector is back on, can anyone shed any light on this? Also, what is the actual point of the AAC? What harm will it do if it's left disconnected? Cheers Vijay
  23. both, look at the way they piled them up!! lol
