  1. The memory is always a lie. Believe me, I know. Once on a trip to China, bought a '2Gb' ipod Nano that actually had 100Mb!!! Also bought a '16Gb' iPhone recently that actually had 4Gb. Lesson; stay away.
  2. That's terrible. How did they take it, i.e. get in to it?
  3. Driving my Z daily at the moment, through wind, rain and ice. No issues at the moment, but then it's an NA and I drive it with respect...
  4. I'm a Project Director in a Telecommunications firm.
  5. Hi, I'm looking to get Sky installed and wondered what the lowest cost option was? From their site, the lowest cost option is the Sky+ package, £17.50 per month + £30 installation. Total for the year £240. They give you a £50 M&S voucher, but little use to me. Is there a cheaper option out there? Thanks for your advice and help.

  7. I certainly thought the R32 looked gr8 when it was released in 1989, but it hasn't aged as well as the R33, which was very bland when first released.
  8. Followed a R33 for miles this morning and I have to agree with those who say it is probably the best looking out of R32/R33 and R34, and has certainly aged the best. When it was released, it was the blandest of the lot, but I have to say the design is timeless and looks very good for something that is 15 years old. Let's hope the GT-R ages just as well, although I have my doubts.
  9. Does the Z also have an oil pressure warning light? If yes, is it accurate?
  10. Sounds an idiot to be honest. Glad it's passed.
  11. Thanks. Sounds like the behaviour is normal then.
  12. Hi, I have a NA which has an oil pressure guage, measuring kg/cm2. Could someone please advise what the normal measurements should be? When I start the car, it reads between 4 and 6. Once it is warmed up, it idles at 2 (or less) but cruises at around 4. When idle, if I rev the car, it increases to 4. Is this normal? The reason I ask is that I have had the car for nearly 5 months and I am sure that it used to nearly always remain around 2. Could the weather have had an impact? Or do I have a problem? Any feedback greatfully received.
  13. Very sad and I wish you all the best. I'm sure things will definitely get better, even though it might sound like a cliche at the moment.
  14. How does it compare?
  15. From experience, and having tried and owned many, stick to Canon. IMO, they are simply the best overall. Also, buy from the net; some models are still 50% of highstreet prices. Sites like pixmania and amazon are the best. However, I would not recommend buying from high street chains online as they still tend to be the most expensive. As for service, amazon is outstanding.
  16. I have a similar issue. When the car is started, the revs rise to over 1000 revs and then before settling down go dangerously low (almost 200 revs). Once the car actually stalled because the revs fell so low. All I do now is hold the revs for a couple of seconds to stop them from falling too low on start up.
  17. It's certainly not very scientific...
  18. Mercedes did it with the E-Class. More rust that a 70s Fiat.
  19. It's a saloon with 2 doors...
  20. Thanks. The ballast is not touching the main body itself, but may be touching another piece of metal inside the car. I'll have a look tomorrow. What a pain! Almost regretting changing the lights to be honest as everything was perfect before.
