Who's got the biggest!!!
I'd rather not have a mortgage. Mine is £240,000, but that is on a developement which is worth double that as it stands and when completed will be worth 5 times that, but it doesn't stop me worrying. The next one though i won't need borrow and then it'll realy be worth it and I can jack my work/business in.

HICAS eliminator?
As you can see the main eliminator bar bolts via the large holes on the two top brackets onto the subframe. The 2 arms with the rose joint ends are bolted (using the bolts in the picture) to the ends of the eliminator. The exposed threaded end would then thread into the Rod ends that are bolted onto the hubs. These ends have a large eye with a pressed bush and this is where your will get play. Buy replacing the hub rod ends with the same type of rod ends that are in the SE rods you will eliminate any chance of play in future. Does that help.

HICAS eliminator?
If your going to do this then you really should replaced hub rod ends. The Eliminator comes with ajustable rods and rose joints on the eliminator end. There is no reason why you couldn't get rose joint rod ends for the hubs. Aurora do every size you could want.

Anti Roll Bars
Correct and the other one doesn't. I knew one did. Stillen only do the ajustable version and they have everything with the kit. Exchange rate as it is at the moment the stillen kit may work out cheeper. Mike Feeney at MJP (trader on here) sells the Stillen kits.

Anyone got a set of these? Ebay springs
poor copy of these http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php/II=64/CA=27 These are car and shock absorber spercific. So if you do go for the ground control coil overs make sure you have told them which ajustable shocks you have, or you'll be doing some creative wilding. These Ground force kits with either their own shocks, Koni ajustables or KYB's will give you as good a system as Tein. My next upgrade before the Nurburg this spring.

Anti Roll Bars
I have Stillen and they are brill, Deemon Tweeks sell White line anti roll bars and they ae just the same. Check when you buy them that the drop links are included and the crossmember mounting bushes as some kits don't have these included.

Reflective Headlights?
The chromed incerts look very good and give the car a upto date look, but will not improve night visson to a noticable degree if you have HID's. I never bothered doing mine once I'd got the HID's because the HID headlights are awesome. So it ceased to be a priority.

which oil filter?
Chris C's OEM oil filter leaked like he had a hole in his sump because of his sandwich plate. Mine did the same. He removed his sandwich plate so he could get a seal. I just changed to Blueprint, because Phil at C&S Wood recomended them for the very reason I've said. He's the only person to ever lay a spanner on my car that I have total confidence in. The only person I know who rebuild's Zed engines and never had to rebuild any off his rebuild again.

which oil filter?
Blue print. they are the same price as OEM, but beleive it or not they have better sealing rings and give no problems. I find OEM sometimes don't seal well and nearly always leak if you have a sandwich plate.

When were SWB Z's last made?
I used to have a 99 brochure which I lent to someone (think it was Luke). I was all in Japanese but it had pictures of a black 2+2 with chrome standard 16" wheels, black leather with burgandy anchara seat insets and lower door card, door end illumination and white faced dials. The next 2 pages had a dark metalic red SWB with 17" BBS Le Mans style silver wheels and the same interior as the black one. With small pictures at the bottom of the right hand page showing a yellow car with black and yellow interior. So I'm sure that the first 99's where also available as SWB's as well.

proof of a zeds value
I got an agreed value from my insurance company by insisting on speeking to one of the uderwriters and telling him what i'd done to the car and then sent copies of invoices, pictures etc and haggled. My insurance at nearly £900 fully comp with an agreed Was 18K now just rehaggled to 15K due to fall in 300zx car prices, is about £300 more than a standard fully comp insurance. That because I live in a low crime area (unless your a violated Sheep) and I'm an old git. Still thnk its worth it for everything declared. Oh yes I also have 4 other cars insured with them and pay about £4K a year and would take that business to who ever gave me what I wanted for the Z. :D :D

How old?
If they did they'd be loosing £5,000+ a year which is what i pay a year to insure my other Vehicles and have done for about 11 years and only made 2 claims in that time amounting to less than £4K. But I know exactly where your coming from. I never got paid out on a mkIII Escort 1600 Ghia because the broker had failed to wright that I had a speeding offence on my licence. Even though the insurance company had to have seen a copy of my licence to insure me. Or so their small print said. Funny thing was that 5 years later the old bill rang up and said "we've found your car". It had my Lewis leathers bike jacket still in it. Though know worn out to death, but in the little sleave pokect was a invoice for a pair of new Avon Road Runners for my bike of the time the car was nicked. Then they realized the vin No was faulse and there was my engine number. Car was scrap, but a true story.
