2 days to go!
I hope you have plenty of money, because it is 5 times more expensive than the rest of France. Port Grimeaux is about the best and cheapest place in the area to eat. It is a bit like a Venice Theme town, but the restaurants are not overly price and good quality. Stay away from the harbour front restaurants unless your happy to pay £50 for a starter. Infact stay away from St Tropez full stop as you can easily get charged £20 for a 8" frozen Pizza. Other than that its nice in the hills and so long as you stay 5 to 10 miles round about St Tropez its self. Final word of warning. If the beach is a 20 minute walk then walk it as it will be a 40 minute drive. Don't mean to sound like a spoil sport as I'm sure you have a ace time but trying to help you avoid the pit falls

(NW) Sun 27th May: Monthly Meet, Twirl of Hay, Chester
That site map is shite. Where is the place and I'll bob along for an hour or 2. However an address as in its on the A41 or the A51 near??? As some of us are anti satnav. This would help as that site map is as good as a chocolate fire guard. Would also have suggested parking in carpark behind Habbitat and going to La Taska for food and being ablr to wonder around chester it's self and maybe hiring some row boats instead of being in suberbia as chester is a special place.

Best clutch and Oil ???
I'd go for an Exeddy single plate or a RPS street, but avoid the paddle clutches. They really are just for track day and designed for lightness and occational starts full stop. They feel horribly heavy and hard, they overheat and binde in heavy traffic, they burn out if you try to hold the car on it and the don't last long with everyday use. If you want a clutch to hold real power and use every day then you need to spend some money and get either an OS Giken twin plate from £800 including flywheel, a Exeddy twin £980 inc flywheel, Exeddy carbon twin £1150 inc fly or the RPS Carbon carbon £1150 inc fly. these clutches will last as long as the car and can handle real pain without melting.

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
I'm a Barnsley Supporter and always have been as its my home town, but I'm not a fan of the way they play and realise with the influx of international investment in the Premiership PLC that the chances of teams like mine ever winning the big cups again are virtually nil. The premiership team I follow is Manchester United. because I went to college in Manchester. Got Married and had kids there and lived there longer than anywhere else in my life. (spent 3 years in London Islington, Camden and Hampstead) Trafford borough is my eldest childrens home town and as a result I go to more Man u matches a year than I do Barnsley. I also believe that the reason the likes of Man U, Liverpool and Arsenel have been good is because of team spirit as well as top players, but too many teams have average players who are paid too much for their ego's to deal with.

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
Actually I didn't ask anything. The point I was making was that prior to the money mogals investing in Chelsea, they weren't a rich club and Newcastle who's ticket revenues and Club size has been much greater than All, but Man u and Liverpool over the last £38 years have somehow been so ineptly managed that they have achieved nothing. With Sam Allardyce's apointment do the toone think this are about to change for the better.

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
SSSH I forgot about that    I don't think he would crawl to keep anybody and would be looking a Michael Owen as the money to buy in 2 better players. Rather than one knackered one trick poney. Anyway I 'm not a Newcastle Fan I am a keen football fan and I recon whith the additional finances at his disposal that Big Sam will either break into the top 4 or give them a close run. I also bet he will win Silverware for them in the next 2 years and I see this as being good for football and all those poor Toone supporters

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
What are the figures based on. Asset value? Player rated Values? Wages paided? Ticket sales? Merchandising? Real Madrid are in debt to the Spanish Government buy hundreds of millions and has been subject to a FIFA investgation.

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
All of them are in debt for those amounts apart from Manchester Utd Who are the the only team on your list in profit. So I refrase the question and say for such a big team in the premiership.

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
I know that was asking the question to try understand how takemetothepub equates a big club and a small club. Mind you he lives in Canvy Island so he proberbly don't even know where Newcastle is  .

So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
Outside the top 4 Who have a bigger fan base?
-
So then is big Sam going to revitalise the toone
As above. I could never understand why a big club like Newcastle just never achieve anything. I'm Glad that big Sam has gone in and sacked a load of premadonas and told Michael Owen "If you staying say so and lets get cracking. If your not then fook off."

uk manual tt
Actually the only Zed I have seen in the flesh that came close to being a mint as Steve_300zx's but totally original was a black I990 UK manual. It was a customer of C & S Wood's and he sold it for over £10K. It had 34k miles on the clock and had a tweed interior. Mint. And I've said it before the worst I've seen was an import (a real rust bucket), but accept that more Uk cars are succumbing to the tin weavle than similar aged Jspec's

Hello everyone
Hi Mate I've got a UK spec Zed all booted and suited and its yours for £10k no not really. I'd be lost without it, but good uk cars are getting harder to find and buying a dog will soon cost you £10k to put right so look at a good few. There is a section on here which will tell you just what to look out for and once you've found one you think is OK, post and ask for someone from the forum to come and check it out. It could save you a fortune.

How far off are you from getting a production version og the 99 spec type incerts then Danny.

Considering a lip spoiler for my Z.
I know that and knew you would have that opinion, but apart from the swage lines it looks more mid 90's. I even hate the upper swage lines on the bumper. You know the one that looks like a beed going rounf the front. Why did they do that. I'm afraid I think simplicity of design and a pragmatic approach to function always out lasts time and all those lines are too fussy.
-
Considering a lip spoiler for my Z.
Fill them in and get rid of them  Really an unsympathetic detail which does nothing for the Zed other than say this is an eighties car.

That does look the Mutts Gonads

Toying with the Idea of buying this.
Been talking to Westfield today and they said if i'm going to use it at weekends where I may end up in traffic then the XTR 4 would be better. as the Low end torque on the bike engine is none existant and the Busa clutch is a week link for anykind of regular road use. + I'd be buying it in kit form and Hyabusa engines are harder to come buy and cost more than the Audi 225 TT.

Are you talking about the 99 spec incerts or the standard incerts chromed. I think Wez can get the standard incerts chromed and I think Danny at DTA is getting the 99 spec incerts sorted.
