  1. You bet. It's a bitch of a job to change that motor as You have to remove most of the dash so I'll certaily make sure there is nothing going to cause me to have to repeat thet job. Thanks for the info.
  2. Just keep trying him. He is usually easier to get hold of Wednesday afternoon onwards as he is always packing stuff on Monday Tuesday.
  3. If it was tits up could it send a perminant signal to the wiper relay??? Ahh thats gone so out of the equation. Thanks
  4. Check for you boost leak and then get Andy to get his emilator out and burn you a proper chip.
  5. I'd buy a Nice Honda S2000 with a supercharger and spend the rest on a really good holiday.
  6. Was just thinking that the lock barrel would interfere with you Rely box??
  7. Would that cause overfueling?? I know when the piston stuck in my dump valve i didn't notice over fueling. Then again I was that anoyed I proberbly wouldn't have unless it was running out the pipes.
  8. What age is the car? What colour are the injectors? What mods has the car got?
  9. Ya joking there wouldn't have been enough left to make an aerofoyle never mind a plane if it had been at Grass Hopper.
  10. I ask Phil the very same Questions. "Why are you not a Trader on the forum etc". He told me he had posted a few times and the result was that that many poeple rang him asking half baked questions, how to do things and quotes that he couldn't get his work. He then stood and pointed at the zeds around the place and said "he comes from Scotland that car comes from Leeds that one is from Bournmouth and the rest are from the North west and your from Wales. I don't need to advertise and I'm that busy I haven't got time to be answering everyones calls and Emails". The only Zed to have spent more than 3 weeks under the knife there is Bazza's and thats because Barry has had problems with wrong parts coming from the states. I have had some doggy jobs done on my car until I went to Blackmoor Service Station . I can only say the work that they have done is exemplery. So thats why I recomend them. I have nothing against Andy. Infact I like Andy, he knows his stuff and is always helpful. In fact he has helped me out a good few times and I would happily return the favour, but I have no experience of his workmanship first hand. I know he has fixed and repared cars of a lot of people that I know well who sing his praises. so I hope he doesn't take any offence that i recomended Phil.
  11. http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/manual/el/112.gif What do these abbreviations stand for? A S C D Are these blower relays just for the fan speed or for Dirrection? What is the Time Control Unit for. Wipers??? Reason being That I have wipers that don't switch off. Have repleced Grey Relay unit and an other motor. Also my fan Direction is Fubar too as it will onlt blow at the face. Any attempt to change dirrection results in clicking and nothing else. I think its the splines on the motor and have ordered a replacement, but seeing the diagram thought i ought to ask the questions.

  13. Spoken in a gutteral New York accent," " Still in corny New York accent."Remember the Style Police are watch". ;)  :slap:
  14. On behalf of the politically correct of England I would just like to take this opportunity to offer our deepest apology to all Dragons everywhere for St Georges acts of animal abuse. Personally I've met quite a few Dragons and I don't think even St George would tackle my mother in Law.
  15. Is that the box that digitally records films and TV programs strait on to its own hard drive Thingy ma whatsit.
  16. Maybe just moved. I had mine fitted for 2 years and only started having problems with them after wiring loom disturbed. Kept having problems then until secured/earth to body. What do the balast boxes look like and what make are they.
  17. Pass. All I know is that I bought mine in the 2003 group buy. Thats the reason I subcribed. The HID's from that group buy are a German make and they have bolt eyes on either end for bolting them to the body. I then bought a set off GetGreddy fot my high beem. i never fitted them but sold them on. I have since seen this make fitted to many Zeds. Most comon place people seem to fit them is dirrectly to the top hoses. They are always insulated. Same ones MarkW fitted and had to insulat to prevent this happening.
  18. I take it that these are HID's If so depending on the ones you've got I am fairly sure that the balast box is either earthing to the body and shouldn't be. Or if they are the same as mine they need to be bolted directly to the body to ensure a good earth. At first I had then cable tied to the loom but touching the body. accidently moved one fitting something and had exactly your problem. They are secured now. Seen a different type that have to be insulated away from the body or it causes the same thing.
  19. You shouldn't have paid them until they did the job right. You should have quoted him back and said are they perfect. The thing is if you don't get it right it will niggle you everytime you see it and although everyone else proberbly won't see it will be the first thing you see. Its 4 years since mine was done and the stone chips anoy me, but its the wing alinement that bugs me the most. Nobody sees it till I point it out but, They took the doors and tailgate of when they sprayed my car as it was a colour change. They then fitted the side skirts with the doors off. Then so the door doesn't fowl the skirts they tweeked the front fings forward at the top. It means the pannel gap at the top is slightly wider than it is at the botttom. I can see it from a mile away and it pisses me right off. So don't let em get away with it and insist that it's done right or it will p1ss you off everytime you see the car.
  20. FFS Vinz come on and tell us how OLD you are so that I aint the oldest. This place has become a youth club. Had my Zed since 1999 and I was older then than most of you lot are now and could have siered most of you whist I was in my mid twenties (and possibly did). Now that is depressing.
  21. But then I can't read it and decide if I like it or not.
  22. Chris your a fooking sick man.
  23. They didn't do a very good job on the Rebuild. Did they take it to Grass Hopper by any chance.
  24. For a proper rebuild your looking at £3,000parts and labour + turbos and a sh1t load of other bits. So I would have ripped Rodders arms of if I hadn't already done everything myself already.
