Disagree with you PC centiment there. I'm not a rasist but your view is against freedom of speech and deny's people an opinion. Words don't injure or maim. + it allows you to make an informed choice as to weather you like a person or not. The point of any joke is to laugh at your own or others misfortune, because "their for the grace of (to apeaze the PC police) God/Alla/Budda/Jahova/Karma/Fate etc go I". + Funny is funny and the only thing that isn't is people that are so uptight they can't laugh at themselves.

VQ Twin Turbo S14 build
Well I've seen 1 and assumed the Blue ones I've seen in France that say Williams on the Back were the same as Robin's one I've seen. Same gold wheels checkered flag Williams logo charcoal gray Recaro seats. I'll have a brows, its got to be on there somewhere even if it a out sorce custom spec like White's Healey's and Genson Healy's. I would never have noticed them if I hadn't seen Robins, but I've seen a few in France since.

The Black Magician Trilogy
Long time since I read those books or any of this kind of stuff. You should try some Eric Vanlisterbaden. Very similar where as David Eddings Belgariad is aimed more at a younger generation. My 10 year old son has read all the 3 David Eddings series. Proberbly the best of that type of stuff is Stephen Donaldson "Thomas Covenant series "Lord Fouls Bain" etc. Fantasy for grown ups. then there's loads of stuff by Michael Moorcock God I have heaps of this slush at home. Now my kids read it. I tend to read Historical Fact, Autobiography's or Thrillers these days

VQ Twin Turbo S14 build
Not the One's I've seen. + It would have to be a small V10 to fit in the engine bay. Ahh The Williams Espace F1 had a V10 engine, but that wasn't a proper people carrier as the engine was in the Back. In 1995, Renault displayed a show car called the Espace F1 (created by Sbarro) to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Espace and Renault's involvement in Formula One racing. It was based on a V10-powered Williams Formula 1 racing car with an Espace J63 body reinforced with lightweight carbon-fiber instead of the glass fiber of the standard model. The Renault-Williams engine powered it from 0-200 km/h in 6 seconds, and helped by the carbon brakes, it did 0-270 km/h and back to 0 in under 600 meters. This version of the Espace was featured in the driving simulator, Gran Turismo 2. I'm Talking about the Blue proper people carriers with the 3.0 TT engine that wizz past you at 150 mph on the sunshine highway. With granny sat in the back.

VQ Twin Turbo S14 build
The William ltd was TT and claimed 410bhp. Mind you thats the one with the VG30 DETT or what ever it's called in the Renault. Anyway my point was I supose that Renault have had a large say as to the direction the of the Z350 and GTR engine. I really don't think Nissan would have started from an existing block if they could have chosen. Lets face it the VH390 was a far better prospedt to have started from surely.

VQ Twin Turbo S14 build
The bore and stroke of the VQ35 may be different to the Renault lump, but it is the same block just reworked. Also the reason that the R35 or as it is now being called the GTR has taken so long to emerge after the release of the G35 is because the original concept was to have the VQ35 DETT but just has Renault had had before there was serious power and heating problems Hence a Totally new engine for the GTR. Renault also used its share holding in Volvo (Before Ford carved it up) to get right to build and use the Mazda/Volvo 2.0 4 and T4 engines in their cars. If your Laguna is a 2.0 sport then life the plastic engine cowel it will more than likely have Volvo cast into the rocker covers.

heater matrix
No you have to leave it in place because your Heater fan for the blowers is at the the bottom of a vortex type intake that draws air from out side or inside the car and blows it over the heater an aircon martix to exchange the heat or cold. The Aircon matrix is between the fan housing and the heater matrix. I suppose you could remove the matrix but you'd have to seal the pipe holes through the bulk head and reinstall the Aircon matrix housing. Or just leave it in case you change your mind.

VQ Twin Turbo S14 build
Funny that Si have you seen the 3.0 Renault Engine they were using before they bought majority shares of Nissan. It is the same physical dimentions and looks like the same castings as the first engine used in the Williams Espace Twin Turbo and was dropped by Renault. because it had serious problems in turbo form. The later Williams Espace Twin Turbo's (ie after apropriation of Nissan) used a rebadged VG30 DETT. Guy a local village garage has one and once the plastic Shrouds are off it is quite clearly a Z32 Lump. don't know what tubs they use.

heater matrix
1)You Have to remove all the lower panels, The framework that supports them, the cross support bar the centre box and gear shift suround, the clocks, the sreering wheel. 1b)Then if you want to go clutch peddle method you have to be Quassy Modo or Origarmy to get the clutch peddle box off. Which means rummaging down the back of the engine. Believe me you still have restricted access . 1a)Dash out method means as 1) but just removing the dash and upper air ducts. But you have free easy access to everything and you can see which wires need unplugging which you can't the other way and end up having to cut wires etc. + which ever way you do it all the lower ductings need to come of so you can slide the matrix assembley out of the end of the aircon assembley. Last thing to know. When you reassemble make sure you reconnect all the sensors and fit in correct places in the ducting or you'll have no control over the air temp you sellect.

VQ Twin Turbo S14 build
VQ 35 isn't that the Renault engine they badge as Nissan for the Z350 and G35. It'll be well laggy with those mothers and I bet it don't last long before it ends in tears.

heater matrix
Just to let you know that the next time you do it it will only take you about 7 hours :smash: :slap:   PS I had the aircon assembly out as I was also fitting a new EFI ECU harness
-
heater matrix
It takes about 10 hours if you'vr never done it before. It isn't technically difficult just a lot to remove to get to the Matrix. I advise you remove the full dash as it will take longer fiddling around with just all the bottom pannels off. I also advise that you get new rubber (or silicon replacements) heater matrix pipes that come from back of engine to the heater matrix pipes that poke through bulkhead.

Electric Fan under headlight panel
Water temp should be around 80 degrees C and Oil temp should be around 90 degrees C With regaurd to the auxilary fan. I'd say if your keeping your aircon then it would be a good idea, because the aircon condensor unit limits the airflow through the rad and will adversley affect it when in heavy traffic on a hot day. However the question was regarding the removal of the aircon system ie condensor etc. Then I would recomend removing thr fan as it is restricting the airflow through the rad and will contribute to increase temps.
