thinking about an r33 gtr
What bit don't you believe? I've owned a midnight purple 1995 R33 GTR Vspec back in 2002. I had it for 6 weeks and thought it was ace for the first 4 weeks, but changed my mind the longer i lived with it. Paul300zx has had the same experience and came to the same conclutions. Isn't this what I said?? Mate thiese are basic errors that inexperienced drivers do with any car and with the same results and has no bearing on what I said. I hold FIA racing liecence, I raced Karts, Palmer Audi's Production bikes etc. One of my best friends is an ex Porsche Driver driver and I've been racing one type of car, bike, truck or Kart for the last 28 years. So you should know who you are talking to before you try and demeen what they say or you'll just sound like a complete tit. Better to say "IMO and You think and feel". Can I Just ask how old you are and what professional driving experience you have. that make you feel you can tell me about what is my oppinion drawn from personal experience is *****x. Because in IMO you sound like a complete stupid knob. Amazing.

thinking about an r33 gtr
Everything I drive I've driven seriously hard buddy and to make such a comment without knowing who or what I'm about is a bit daft. Rear wheel drive is more engaging and takes a lot more skill to keep on the tarmac. and the 10% of the time that the GTR is not rear wheel drive is the times you would be working a lot harder and in a more focused manner if you were driving a rear Wheel drive car to its limits. Been there done that got the T shirt and I stick by what I said.

replacing trim after respray..
Replace all mine on Blue Zed. I got the scuttle pans, the targa roof and screen trims from Luke (but would go Z1 these dats as you can get the rest from them and talk up a deal) I got the door and rear quaters trim , the Targa seals, the top and bottom screan seals and all rear screan trims and corners from Z1. I bet it cost about £600 all in.

thinking about an r33 gtr
From experience I'd say if you like driving the Zed hard you will not get on with the GTR . Yep its great for the first few weeks, but then you realise that once your used to it you really cannot freek yourself out with it. You can go round corners faster, but no butterfly and twitchy on the raged edge. In the end you realise that it isn't as rewarding to drive, isn't as good looking and the frigging boot is actually smaller that the Zed because all the clever tricks take up most of the space from behind the rear seat to half of what you think the boot should be. Shit no your right get a Skyline and sell me you SWB. P.S. first dibs on the SWB if its for sale.

Anyone who knows this car?
So long as you have insurance cover, the new owner slip of the logbook and a bill of sale stating that you have paid paul £??,??? for it and the car. Also if it is Taxed and Tested you will be legal to drive her away and of to the boat. You got yourself a real peach of a Zed there. It's a shame that it is leaving the UK. Hope you get over here for a few club meets or meet up with us on the next Nurburgring run.

Anyone who knows this car?
PaulG's car, Known as the fridge. I've seen this car in the flesh and it is one of the nicest wide arse cars on the forum. The pic's don't do it justice You have to see it in the flesh to get a true understanding of how well that rear spoiler works. Yet it always looks wrong in the pics.

Greddy FMIC vs Copy FMIC
Yes Greddy is embosed into the top of its coolers as is HKS, PWR (Power Enterprise), Stillen, Z1 and McCuloch. The Chinese and North Korean copies tend to have a stencil etch on the top rather than a genuine pressed emboss. + then their is the Chinese and North Korean brands such as Autobhan and Sonita. North Korean Sonita cooler are beautifully crafted but how well calibrated I don't know, but they make genuine coolers and inductions for big name brands such as K&N etc.

Poll to split the regions
Can the combined North Wales, NW and NE regions invade Poland and form a super region. I thought the point of the regions and meets was to get large numbers of Zed and Zedders together not have Zed tes parties. This just sounds daft.

Bunch of C*nts beat up Maddie and stole her stuff!
Different generation. We were brought up to believe that hitting a woman was just a no no. Only week shits do this sort of thing. Hope that it has no real lasting effects to her confidence and that she recovers quickly for her injuries. Utterly dispicable. Please pass on my regaurd and well wishes

tyre size
Proberbly down to wheel offset, poss lowering or poor jeometry. personally I think 245 is too wide for the front as it will aid more understeer. 225 make much quicker turn in and quite pointy 235 are a compromise of handling and wheel arch fill.

Sold my ZED!
Well the next 11 weeks sounds fantastic I'm really jealous. Where did you here of this . Now I'm a free agent I wouldn't mind going to do things like this myself. Or do you have to be an Oceanographa or something. Or just sume bod who has diving certs? £4K buddy. You could have had my SWB NA and £3K then sold my NA for £2.5k when you wer ready. Good luck though man and enjoy.

i have a GTR
Bloody Trator So you'll be hob nobbing it with the Skyline boys now will you. Well they arn't a nice a bunch as these guys, but if it floats your boat enjoy it. I like the R33 to look at and my flertation with them was as an excuse to have a quick car that would pass the Ex Mrs as a family car to get her off my case, but I ended up simpley not enjoying drivng it as much as the Zed. Not as involving.

skyline wheels
Oh *****x I hate getting it wrong. Maybe the one Ben had was a special then. He had the Gold Topsecret R33 there last time i went down.
-
skyline wheels
Yep the guy who owned it was called kev. Smallish guy with dark hair PS it didn't have the computor and stuff though just clocks I've got to go now and now I'm wondering if I missed a fantastic bargin.

Your just trying to throw in to many variables. Put it This way The other car I did buy of Ben was A Toyota Celica TDR Sspec. one in sig pic and 4 year later when it was written off it took the insurance company 2 months to find an importer who could get on and he wanted £17K for the same year. I paid £11K for it thinking that it was a Mspec and just a typo. With full action pack. But it turned out to be a Spec. 1 of only 100 made for a racing series. It was ultra light weight 230 bhp and handle like nothing else i've ever driven. So I don't know, but he did only import specials and limted edditions. So who knows and why was the white 1995 R33 at GPS the same. PS it had all the GTR type front end wings interior and spoiler.

skyline wheels
Your fooking confused?:confused: All I will say is the Red one Ben was selling back in 2003 he was asking £11K for it and all the AWD GTR's were well over £15K.
-
skyline wheels
Yep it being at that Tw@ts place and Dave saying that spec didn't exist I started to wonder.:rofl: Have you sussed out how much of your car actually belonged to it and how much came of all the other poor beggers.:slap::x:

skyline wheels

You know it makes sense. Or do em Bronze. Anyway am I right about the Mspec or are they specials? Bloody anoying me now.

skyline wheels
So your saying that the Red car I looked at and the white one at GPS were specials then? Cos the Red one I nearly bought was imported buy ben Linney at GTculture and I went right over that car and deffo RB26 and same everything as the GTRVespec apart from the Clocks and computor. Oh and Gearbox and no box of trix between the rear suspension columbs that cut the boot down to the size of a mini. The the one at GPS was just the same but white. I also saw a 4 doored R34 GTR at GPS with RB26 and 4 wheel drive. Couldn't get over how long it was.
