tropical fish
I used to use RO but then found out it removes absolutely every protein from the water, so you have to use an RO additive to put them back in??? I forget what its called but its something like RO+. is that right? switched from RO (was using for about year), back to tapwater with tapsafe conditioner, and not lost a single fish since.

Driving with the lights on.
Is it a good idea to drive with the lights on (Im about to fit HIDs and wonder wether it will damage them being on all the time?) I leave them on so car stands out more - not that it should need to People just dont seem to see me coming and pull out on me - happened lots - especially in my biking days too (I think thats where leaving headlights comes on from).

Dashboard lights - dimming - remove
Everytime you turn lights on the dashboard clock and climate control displaydim down. I dont want this to happen. I cut the green wire with the white stripe on the clock and it is now fine - that doesnt dim down. But the same colour wire going to the climate control doesnt do the same. Anyone know which wire I need to cut?

reversing lights?
I dont think its the switch - I posted a while ago about this. underneath the gearbox I had 2 connectors dangling in the road. one had one end of a connector on and a bit of wire. I dont know if one has come away from the switch on the gearbox or what? but the other needs a cable going somewhere? Cheers

reversing lights?
After having a new clutch fitted - somebody had not put the cable back in correctly near the gearbox. As i found out by picking up half a ripped wire that had been dragging on the ground. Now, I have no reversing lights - Any idea what I need to wire to where? I think they come on for half a second as you select reverse but then immediately go off. Cheers

NZR - computer advice please

Ive pulled a bit but when the temp needle came out it came out with the pin attached still? Ive pushed it back in - is this is - all I have to do is pull on needles?? ALSO . . . . Do i remove the main bulbs when fitting indiglo dials?? Do I put the indiglo dial leads through the holes where the bulbs used to be? Thanks

Boss - which wire do I cut???
lol, no - I checked but must have missed it - I worked it all out now though - pretty much done what you have already said :) I went one step further and cut round the retainer ring that hold the plastic slide contact in place so it oversits on my hub (if you know what I mean). Job look absolutely perfect :) thanks anyway matey.

Boss - which wire do I cut???
sussed it it was the yellow wire - it is for horn - however it touches the outer casing of the momo boss, so I cut the white and green wires (these are for cruise control - i think) and wired the yellow up to where the white wire went - this constantly makes contact with the momo horn ring. :) now to just figure out and reposition the cruise control switches. :)

Boss - which wire do I cut???
The Green, yellow or white? or do i need to do something different everytime I locate the boss onto the (butchered) hicas/horn black plastic round part (which has 3 contacts - the green/yellow/white wires) - the horn goes off. Ive tried shorting all 3 together (like the boss is fitted) and it doesnt go off??????????? I have tried putting insulating tape in order over each one and if I cover the yellow contact the boss goes on without horn going of.. However - the horn doesnt work if i try and use it then ??? Any ideas please.

Urgent safety help required.
sound matey - get em posted :) I'll eventually get a hicas brace bar on the rear but for now im happy. Im more concerned over what to do with the wires and the big plastic ring thing :) Its a genuine momo for a 300zx.

Urgent safety help required.
I just got a new boss to fit (genuine momo without hicas/cruise control support). I have removed steering wheel and the black unit behind it that has the sensors on for hicas etc. Is it safe to then fit the momo hub - it seems to bolt on very securely but the horn does not work - the ring on the back of the momo doesnt touch anything - I had to remove the enclosed unit (hicas sensor - im presuming) to fit the momo. Should I strip down the hicas control unit (the black bit behind the steering wheel) to try and join that to the momo for horn support? either way what do I do with the black hicas bit with the wires? do I just cut the wires? I disabled hicas a while ago (well JD did by joining 2 wires under bonnet - thus disabling rear hicas). I cant get any pics till tomorrow so im hoping Ive explained it ok. Please advise me if poss.
