G-Tech performance meter
both impressive times. They're pretty accurate tho - aint they? - as long as your on a level road? I think it does 1/4 mile too - I can have a practice (on a private road ;) ) before I come to da pod.

G-Tech performance meter
Just found my old Gtech performance meter. Gonna run it up over next few days and find a quiet road and measure 0-60mph. Has anyone else got one of these - what times are you running? Cheers

cats eye speed cameras
Also - I believe cops with radar guns are *MEANT* to put a sign further down the road warning you they're doing speed *safety* measurements. The one in Sheffield the other day practically jumped out from behind a bush at me - nearly knocked the silly bastad over!!!!

whats the stats?
ya pays for what ya get - wish I'd bought one from a member of this club - I paid about £4k for mine and in the last year and half spent another £8-9K fixing and modding it up.

rough idle
nope, just seems to be when door bangs.
-
rough idle
well not rough but seems to idle ok(ish) when cold. However when you shut door or shut boot revs dip then rise. Does this sound like an electrical problem ie bad earth or loose/split hose or something. Ive had a rummage round under bonnet while engine is cold and ticking over but cant move anything that seems to make it drop/rise again. anyone else had this?

So where is your zed Rusting?
paint bubbling on rear arches (from previous bodge/touch up) - and top of windscreen (same as Kazwilin) drivers side. Think screens gonna have to come out to get it sorted. part from that - none - touch wood

Dials problem
Just before I send these clocks back is there *anything* that could cause an over sensitive speedo? i.e. speedo reading over double actual speed? Cheers

Dials problem
I thought the speed sensor fed the ECU which controlled power steering - Im not sure if it relies on a signal back from the clocks.

Dials problem
bought a replacement dashboard from a member of group that Im having problem with. when I got it speedo and rev counter were just sitting at max - even when plugged in. looked at back and realised speedo was missing 2 of its 4 screws so used the screws from mine, - no change. left it plugged in and drove home - after about 4 miles bothe rev counter and speedo dropped to normal positions. Anyways. . . . . Rev counter seems fine but speedo is reporting 60mph when GPS shows were doing 34mph and when Im actually doing 45mph speedo shows 105mph??? Also noticed steering is starting to go heavy intermittantly now I have this plugged in - its a uk spec dash. Does it sound like dash is knackered or have i missed something obvious. I dont have a problem returning and Im sure the member doesnt realise there could be a problem, just waiting for him to come back on - but before its returned want to make sure I tried all avenues. Cheers

Telewest quadruplin broadband speed

Ferrari 360 convertable
fancied me chances, pulled out behind it after just filling up with Optimax, hit carriageways and he gunned it. I changed lanes and sat on his right side (very) slowly seemed to catch him up and was in the midst of an overtake., when the roundabout loomed into site. Coming up to roundabout - he got into the middle lane, so I being in the right hand turn only lane dropped behind him then switched to left lane so we were both gonna go straight over .. . . dropped it down a gear, and got ready to nail it from the roundabout and. . . . . . He turned round and cut up the right lane and double backed up the carriageway we just come from - I feel cheated :( How would I have faired against one of these - 0-60 specs say a little over 5 secs - I know the handling and brakes would outshine me but on a straight run could I take him? AND my roof was off  AND there was no white fiesta's up me ass ;) (Sorry IndianZX) :)

Snap off steering
Just fitted the Rage snap off steering to my momo wheel and boss. All ok apart from my steering wheel is now another 5" closer to me and it seems hell of a long way back to the indicator stalk. Anyone else got a snapoff boss kit? Is there a shorted momo boss I can buy or is there a shorter snapoff kit worth going for?
