got back from sunny bournemouth today, lots of pennies lighter. Ride is lovely, cant fault it. Not sure if its as quick as my UK TT but that could just be a noise thing - my UK TT is straight through where my black beauty is silenced. Needs a bit of TLC and tidying up so it has began, Im down in the garage unbolting and transferring bits over as we now speak :) Cheers Martin - your a top man!

I have a problem with mine. swapped both over so proved its not ballast or bulb. new battery so its not that. If I start the car and turn em on they both come on. however, if I kill the lights then put em back on again the drivers side doesnt come on. Cant remember if it happens if I put lights on before I start engine, but it would suggest a relay somewhere.

nah, hes a mate :) He told me the local lads round here fit em to their M3's etc. They work out nearly £50 a tyre cheaper than the F1s. Appreciate what your saying tho. I Think theyre a winter tyre so could prob fit em now then fit F1's in the summer as the F1s I have are summer tyres. just wanted to know if anyone had heard owt bad bout em.

from what i remember - disconnect the solenoid on the wing and short out the end with a paper clip. cover in tape. bodgeartists 'r' us :)

Any good? Had goodyear F1s and the guy that sold me them recommended these - and theyre lots cheaper.

Just got the missus a Suzuki Vitara JLX Soft top (1992). Can I get the roof down - can I eckers like!!! :headvswal Has anyone here ever owned one and managed to work out how it comes down - Ive heard theyre a bit awkward! The Suzuki forum people havent answered (dont think theyre quiet as friendly as us bunch).

what is a bypass - zed im picking up has apparently had a water bypass by Ztech - not sure exactly what it is?

Thinking about breaking my manual UK TT. :( Many parts like viper spoiler, HKS SSQV DV's (Possibly), 17" Modena wheels, rear white light conversion, engine parts etc etc etc. just gauging interest. Dammit - looks like another Zed then :) I may have a look at an R32 GTR Skyline - just not right keen on the styling of em ;) Inside looks like a basic taxi cab sorta car. thought about going down the 200sx route - but prefer its big brother. One good thing I spose is I pretty much knows what can/cant go wrong with zeds now. Sort of a blue/white smoke. Seems to smoke real bad when cold when warmed up you notice the smell more.

Morning all, noticed my zeds starting to smoke pretty badly, if window is open and your sat in traffic you sorta start choking on the smell. Notice a puff if your boot it - throttle off then touch the accelerator again. Im thinking its turbo seals but would that cause smoking under fairly normal driving??? If it is turbo seals - any idea on how much to get them replaced? Cheers

Got a Momo Race, and if you just fit the wheel it has 6 countersunk holes for 6 presumably countersunk hex screws. But. . . This momo comes with a ring thats not countersunk?? So do I just fit the ring over and not worry about the countersunk holes on the steering wheel? Little worried coz I thought that if I fit the ring and not use the countersunk holes there could be some play and under bad conditions could even be play and crack screws??? If that makes any sense.

Yep - I got tomtom on my phone with all the FREE speed camera locations, along with Tescos, Shell stations, asda, B&Q etc etc etc Along with voices I have Darth Vader, Yoda and Ozzy Osbourne voice packs - dead funny for the first 2 minutes!!! then you have to change back.

think you mean KiloByte ;) 2Mb connection is about 1840Kbps (230KBytes) (Very Avg). 150KByte is about 1200KiloBits. if I remember rightly . . . . .

Didnt realise I had lapsed over. I have since joined the Zclub aswell (friendly bunch and lots of familiar faces ;) ) I have resubscribed to this forum for the reason of. .. it was a brilliant forum, but recently due to number of factors has brought it down a bit. Now I know this has been said on numerous threads about troublemakers, etc and I *dont* want to cause arguments or bitch and gripe, but Im sincerely hoping this forum becomes great again. I used to log onto 300zx 10 times a day or more and read every thread going. Its been said a thousand times before, lets all try and get on, stop posting drivel and make this a great place again. A lot of people using torrents experiencing really slow speeds could be down to their router (If they have one). You need to set up port forwarding - this can raise your d/l speeds from under 10K to over 200K (on a 2MB connection). I originally had very slow speeds but after setting up my router Im nearly always above 180K.
