when I picked up my car Martin told me the heater was noisy. Fair dos I though - switched it on and theres an almighty banging noise. So i took it apart and this is what I found. . . . .

run an 02 ecu test - prob got a dodgy sensor my zorst were black and overfuelling badly - changed 02 sensor - prob cleared right up

what size are characters mate? or did you just specify plate size and fancyplates work it out for you?

Can anyone recommend a good (without being too illegal) plate size for the 99 spec front. If you could would it be possible to post a link to a pic with a 99 spec front with front plate and size. Im getting one made up and theres about 20 different sizes you can go. I believe (there was a post) I can go slightly smaller as long as characters are sized well etc. Would it be worth going for a square plate on the front? I dont wanna get pulled all the time by police. Can I just have normal size letters and spacing but just have 10mm above, below and at the sides - that could cut the plate size down dramatically without changing letters. sorry if thats long winded :)

fookers Cheers bud!!! so 3 bolts - prob 10mm? then the light unit comes out throught the front - then I presume you can get to the bulbs :)

ARRGGHHHHH How do you change the bulb in these fookers. I can remove the side indicators ok - 2 screws. its the little ones at the front that contain fogs and side lights.Turning the screw at the front of the light does "F" all. Are they fixed in - do the bulbs come out from the rear through the indicator hole.

agreed Andy, Most people just set them up incorrectly or open all ports :rolleyes: thus making it pointless.

Mate, you really need a firewall. Threes a lot more out there than viruses and spyware :) Your pretty well covered if you have a hardware firewall router - technically you dont need a software firewall but you normally have no outbound filtering, so If a program wants to send/dial something home it can do without your knowledge.

what firewall you running - sometimes Zonealarm and the like block these. Happened to me with ebay.

:) works fine. only thing it does now though is clocks up a mile on the odometer at 7 rather than 0 on the resettable odometer, if you know what I mean. Not bothered like, just a little nuance. If anyone can suggest a quick fix for It I may strip it all down when weather turns warmer.
