ECU is in the passenger side footwell - lift the carpet then remove the wooden board - presto ;) Cant quiet work out why satnav needs to be connected to your speed line as GPS triangulation should sort out your speed.

Hard Drive Disk File Recovery NZR
If all else fails mate send it up to me. Depending on whats gone I can normally recover most drives. I can do board exchanges on em as they've been known to fail. Ill do it for ya for free anyway mate and wont damage owt - so if you like, if I cant recover it Ill send it ya back and you can send it away for platters to be stripped out but this really needs to be done in a sealed room.

NZR - 200sx turbo
My mate bought our old 200sx (s13) and we had it chipped with a boost controller boosting it from 7?psi to about 13psi. Anyway - his turbo gave out in the end so he removed the boost controller and bought a 2nd hand but good condition replacement turbo from another s13. Im sure he says he checked it and it was marked up exactly the same. Fitted it and its boosting at 12psi as standard without a boost controller now? Any ideas why it would be doing this as he was going to refit the boost controller but is now not going to bother? Is it just down to a very good condition turbo boosts higher than an old worn one? or do you think it maybe a hybrid Turbo or something. Cheers

Main beam query
Someone posted on a while ago saying if you have HIDs its a good idea to ground pins 4 and 5 of the headlamp dimmer so they do not switch on and off when you flash (this damages them at speeds) AND it also means when your main beam comes on your dipped (HIDs) stays on too. Just done it and all worked lovely. However. . . . . Now all 4 will be running on main beam - isnt the extra poewr draw gonna damage something as Nissan only designed it for either dipped OR main beam on? Cheers

Fed Up
you lucky, lucky bastads We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep wi' his belt

carbon deposits all over rear bumper
I know one side was dodgy but duffer told me it should be all right coz it was stuck in the middle range.

carbon deposits all over rear bumper
mate - its like dry black soot. the exhausts are HUGE :) and stainless so if I clean them out they go black instantly.

carbon deposits all over rear bumper
Getting right pissed off. Washing car doesnt ever clean the soot like deposits off the rear - it gets covered and I MEAN covered in black sooty shite. It will come off with either an oily rag or some isopropyl alcohol, then I wash the car - drive it up the dual carriageway to dry it - come back and theres a thin mist of black over the rear again. I dont notice it smoking if I boot it a bit, but every now and then I get a little puff of dark smoke when on low revs after I have been out and about at speed. Does it sound like turbos are knackered or just running rich?

Glove box
from what i remember . . . . open glove box and theres a screw on the right undo and lift off metal bar. cant remember if you remove the lower plastic strip under the glovebox but there are 2 bracket bolts to undo. Thats it. Been a long time since i done it though but its pretty straightforward.

My Missus thinks Im sad
Very easy to fit - honestly - straight plug and play swap - Im just finding it hard where to mount the ballast box. but as for the lights - takes 5 mins to swap over - no cutting or anything - straight swap :)
