  1. thanks. somedays Ive noticed its worse than others tho, especially when Ive pulled onto drive and turned on full lock. Sometimes it touches the inner panel, sometimes its about an inch away?
  2. Cheers Jack, Ill have a look at that, that sounds promising.
  3. :nelson: nah, the wheels have got worse over time. like it said, Duffer etc have checked it over. Im just wondering whether anyone else has ever had the same problem. Its started to rub away the inner guard on the drivers side now. I know theres lots it can be, but since Ive had it it had polybushes fitted on front tie? arms. Im going to get another mechanic to look at it next week, like I said, wondering whether anyone else has ever had prob and managed to fix it. Cheers OK Decided - what are the first and obvious things to check (just incase)? Cheers
  4. Owt else I can check - Duffer looked at car and couldnt work it out. Both my front wheels (drivers side more than passenger) is too far forward and on turning wheels is rubbing on inner plastic guard. only got 17" modena's on with low profile tyres, it was still too far forward with std wheels anyway. Ive had both the lower control arms replaced as these were cracked but they are still too far forward. As duffer and JeffTT both looked at car a while ago and its foxed them, Im just wondering what else. Car hasnt been in an accident - no buckling anywhere, all obvious signs checked for. I think JD suggested front adjustable rose jointed arms - cant remember if this would sort it out though? Im just after anything else I can check to see whats up before more money is spent. thanks
  5. MY heater is not blowing anymore. I fixed the ballast behind the glovebox a while ago and its gone again. Is there a fuse I can check anywhere before I rip the ballast out and order a replacement? Anywhere else to check? Cheers
  6. what really asses me off is too is you have to tell insurance when it comes round for renewal - even not being your fault - your insurance WILL go up because of this.
  7. if your brave (Ive done it before) you can cut it and extend it by soldering some idc ribbon cable - its tricky but can be done mate.
  8. anyone know who would condition them? cheers

  10. when you guys fitted the indiglo dials did you remove the normal bulbs from the dash for better effect?
  11. is it worth new or should I give andyZ a bell?
  12. just fitted the hicas eliminator and Ive *STILL* got rear wheel wobble, causing back end of car to feel like its on ice when I hit bumps. Mechanic had a look at it and told mne both rear track arms that bolt into the hicas are shot? with car up in air you can move the wheel left and right and see the knuckle on the arm (closest to the eliminator) moving. also the drivers side knuckle it bolts onto (wheel end) seems to move around a lot free'r than the passenger side. Any ideas - would 2 rear track rod arms sort the prob or is there meant to be some movement? Cheers
  13. same here, wishing him well.
  14. Urgently need to speak to you mate please pm me - Ive pm'd you my mobile number Its v urgent mate.
  15. just took a photo - it seems to be coming out of the metal protector but on closer inspection the rubber hose at top looks holed? what do you think? Can I just bandage it up temporarily or is it high pressure? NB - I have also just bought the rear hicas eliminator so is it worth fitting that and removing them pipes totally? How would I do this? Thanks
  16. crawled underneath back of car passenger side just in front of the wheel and i got transmission fluid dripping from a pipe or a joint there. Cant see properly as its getting dark and its lashing it down with rain. Anyone had this prob before? Can I just bandage up pipe or tighten joint?
  17. Why do things always go wrong when its pissing it down :( coming home from work and notice a groaning noise and feel vibration through pedals - next thing steering goes heavy and feels really lumpy. Stop off at local motor factor and buy some Comma AQF Automatic transmission Fluid that I was told is for all power steering pumps etc. Fill it up - nearly 1 litre of the stuff - 30 secs later all feels fine again. 2 miles later groaning and heavy steering again. Any ideas on where to start looking - when it stops piggin raining. Just had another look and it isnt empty this time yet its making all the smae noises as before? Drove ok all the way home after filling it up it was only last few miles - its about 3/4 full now?
  18. every day - even in snow - now thats fun ;) I bought this zed to drive - not to sit pretty in a garage ;) lol.
  19. 2 things it would depend on for me size - one I got for the old 200sx looked like a K&N but was *lots* smaller. secondly - the apexi (of which that looks similar) has a funnel in it which creates swirl of air needed for MAF (I believe). I bought a genuine APEXI from GetGreddy ;)
