I had exact same thing happen on my work van, put a nice set of 18s on it. The tyres looked great after a bit of driving got a vibration, And every wheel had bulges on the inner walls. All the tyres looked like new tread. They were fullrun on mine, cheap tyres see a lot of them getting bulges. Tyre companys shouldn't be allowed to sell cheap tyres some of them are just dangerous.

When u get a thinner tyre the profile will change too. See a 225 40 18 and a 255 35 18 are around the same. If u got a 225 35 18 the profile would be smaller then the 35 on the rear. The profile is a percentage. Maybe u know this all ready and I read your post wrong lol.

To be honest I wouldn't buy it, stunning car but where I live in Kent could buy a nice little house, a nice normal new car and have change. The materials its made with inside and out are awesome, but its surprising how much it blends in, everyone still notices his plate more then the car. Been watching people with it, at the garage when its parked outside people just walk by it, ive parked my zed out there before and people are all over it looking and asking what it is. Still reckon a zed with full interior retrim in a similar design to the bentley materials, new paint, wheels and rebuilt lump and big tubs and it wouldn't be far off the bentley and about 100k cheaper lol.

Guys these restoration places are crackers £40 an hr and 4 to 5 days per side..somewhere in the region of 4k ouch.. Anyone fabricate panels on here, or know anyone who could fabricate panels to how I want. And weld them in. Want panels made to look smooth but prefer someone who can do it with no filler.. Everyone I call are saying its a curved bend going both ways and not do able. Surely nissan didn't pay 4k to shape them. And seen them American chop shop style places on tv making motorbike fuel tanks from a piece of sheet metal. Im willing to spend good money and know it wont be cheap, but 4k is crazy..

Think the bentley is better, how did u know its a saracen lol. My uncle had a merc and someone hit it, insurance didnt pay him and he had there cls merc lets just say the saracen won the fight straight over it, and delivered merc back to them. So id say its more powerful then a car.

Think the number plate is worth more then the car, he has 5fd and 5pd he had both plates on 2 bentley turbo r's. And he sits in the office and we do all the work the ****er.

What u think of it, Not really mine its me uncles he just bought it, bentley supersport 6.0l twin turbo. Think its 3.7 to 60 and 207mph and something like 650 bhp. Its an awesome motor... All the dash is carbon, and brake disc are has big has my zed wheels.. The plate is his initials,

Well guys just emailed 2 restoration companys, gonna see how much it is to replace it all and fabricate the parts from metal.. Wonder how bad the price will be ouch lol. Cheers for replies everyone..

Tempted to find somewhere that can cut the lot out and make it with metal, Spent about 20-30k on this car and thats not a joke, spent 6k in paint jobs its about the 4th time its been resprayed in 4yrs. Got about another 4-5k to get it how I want it, so want it done right if it means paying a lot of money to make it metal then I'll have to, or theres no point spendingall this money for it ti crack and bubble, just wanna make sure its has good has it can be..

Lol, so it wont fall out, not done bodywork like this and dont wanna be taking the engine back out to repair and respray again.

This is the other side not finished yet run out of time so put primer on it incase it rains till next weekend, To get it smooth the filler is a thin skim but spread over quite a lot of the area is that normal way to do it, Or have I used to much,

Guys im still on this engine bay. It looked really good, Relocated the steering pot and fuse box. Problem I now have is.. In the wheel arch, where abs wire bolts to inner wheel arch theres a bracket the bracket was sticking out, so I bent it back in. Easy I thought, until I looked back in at the bit of filler I used to smooth engine bay out. Filler cracked opposite side of bracket, all fixed now but its got me worried. I know moving the bracket has made the metal flex and crack filler but will it crack say hitting a bump or anything. Never really used filled, keyed up bare metal where filler is with 80grit paper. Its on maybe 4-5mm thick at worse. Am I worrying to much, sitting here thinking if wheel flicks somthing up all my filler us gonna crack..god what to do lol. This is what I have it like now nice and smooth but how long will it last. Starting to think about cutting the whole shape out and find someone to fabricate it in one sheet of metal. Don't want to put it back together and it cracks. Is there anything else I can do. Or just leave it.

The launch x431 at work does all the bits on the my zed, hicas, abs etc is on it.

Surely if the pedal is firm with ignition off, then its not air in the system, If its soft when ignition is on and abs light is on there must be a problem with the pump itself. If u hit the brakes and lock the wheels the pedal drops, and pulses under your foot stopping the wheels from skidding. Sounds like the pump is constantly running or something making the pedal drop. If u turn ignition off does the pedal pump straight back up, If the light is on it has a fault if u cant read it cause difference in years with different lights etc, what about consult or a good diagnostic machine. At work we have a launch x431 and it reads engine, abs, hicas etc. Surely that would point u in the right direction. Never worked on later zeds, so don't know to much about them, but bleed brakes at work and bleed brakes on my zed and never touch the abs, If u change master cylinder on a zed with nipple on abs u can bleed it there and get away with taking wheels off and doing all the calipers. But even when changed my master cylinder just bleed at wheels never had a problem. If it had air in it u should still feel it with ignition off, and ignition on should make no difference to pedal cause abs pump should do nothing to its skidding. Maybe yours has a fault that it thinks its skidding and pumping constantly, Hope u solve it, and good luck. .

Cost £95 cause I asked for the candy colour, more expensive. Dont know why looks shite lol..

Cheers z nut, its a nightmare, I started a job in London and having to send the misses but may leave late tomorrow and have a look. I offered to put bolts in the holes and he said he masks them but on closer look of the pics seems he aint bothered.

Will be making sure its going on a new rebuilt forged lump, He did say he was using stuff to cover faces and block holes but looking at his powder coat im really :scared: Thanks for the heads up..

I forgot to check them disc mate, if u wanna pop round one sunday u can have them its up to u. Yep was expecting a really nice plenum and it looks shite lol. Not having much luck with painting and powder coat.

Cheers guys, Thats what he said if I wanted a show finish he would have done a light polish before to make it smooth, I said why would I have gone for the most expensive candy finish he did if I didn't want it to look good. He sand blasted before powder coat, I know the plenum is not perfectly smooth but that looks crap.

Hi guys misses picked up my plenum today, had it powder coated candy blue. She just sent me some pics on my phone, and I am not impressed.. Told her to take it straight back, and call me when she gets there so I can spk to them on the phone, Guy says its the casting marks on the plenum, I no nothing about powder coat and said I aint having it cause to me that aint casting marks there is either water or something got on it, looks like blisters. If it was casting whole plenum would look like it.. He said pick it up tomorrow and he will do it again. So whos right me or him incase its the same tomorrow, I have some answers ready lol. Some pics of the crap.. Any help appreciated.
