Just asked as I want 2 new calipers and AndyZ has 4 left hand no right hands Andy said about the bleed screw but other than that he could see no reason why it couldnt be done as they look identical. Thanks for all your help maybe I should try it just so we all know for future reference, not that its likely to come up again I suppose.

Hi all, does anybody know of any reason why a left hand front brake caliper can not be swapped over to fit the right hand front and vice a versa? I have looked and cannot see any reason why not just wondered if anyone had a better idea.

I could be interested in a group buy if you get enough interest.

does anyone know what the Prince Motor Company actually did as my 300 has a Prince badge in the back?

the passenger seat will bolt in no problems, if you supply a permanent live feed to the connector it will work no problems, dont know any way of making it work manually tho, as for door cards you will either need to feed UK seat belts or cut the door cards to fit the Jap spec belts, the rest will fit straight in.

Speak to AndyZ in the traders section, im sure a second hand unit is the best way to go and his prices are always good.

you have to drop the roof lining then there is 8 x 10mm nuts to remove and pull it up, mine had some sealant under it so took a bit of gentle tugging and it was off, took about an hour to do, not hard at all.

I use Business Post, always seem the cheapest for me and never had any problems, have to ask for the 48 hour service or they quote the next day prices.

If you go into your local Brown Brothers they can give you a spec sheet for the type of paint you want, it will tell you the mixing ratios, drying times, recommended thinners and primers and even down to the grade of wet and dry you need to use, it is not as hard as you may think to do, im sure if you do a search on google you should find a step by step guide, if you need any more specific info just ask, sprayed cars for 15 years before I got a decent job.

if you go for a standard white it can be bought ready mixed from the factory so you can buy a litre at a time and there should not be any problems with the match each time, if you have never sprayed a vehicle before I would use cellulose paint, 2k etc is much better but needs to be sprayed by a competent bodyshop.

need more details, the type of paint you use will make a difference to how much you use, if you are doing it all in one go or a bit at a time as well, if you do it a bit at a time you should buy the paint in one go to ensure a good colour match.

Sure I read somewhere recently it was D III, but I could be wrong.

I would first check the oil level, it should have Dexron 3 from memory, the quantity you put in depends on how much came out as its very difficult to drain all the oil.

hi, there is an electrical connection under the passengers seat, but you will need to add a constant live from somewhere, easiest way is to run a wire from the constant live under the drivers seat across like I did.

I can recommend a place in Ipswich, they recently did my 60k service, belts pump etc and have worked on other Zeds in the past, I will give you an address and tell you what it cost if your interested.

The one I bought was from a different seller, but I believe they are using the same picture to advertise so Im not sure if they are going to be identical, I intend to contact the person I bought from to advise them that the fit is not 100% just wondered wether I was being too fussy really before I said anything.

Has anyone else bought one of the above items off ebay? if so just wondered what your opinion is of it as others may be considering buying one and might appreciate the feedback, for mine it took 2 days of grinding with a dremel to get a half decent fit althought its still not perfect which was disapointing, I dont know how this compares to the items available through Z Centre, maybe they are all like this and I was too fussy. Must say though now its all done it does look good and was worth the work, perhaps I would have been happier if I paid more and stopped being a cheapskate.

Purchased mine from Courtesy Nissan, with carriage its still cheaper than Nissan UK, if your lucky and can find someone else that wants to order you can share the carriage charge, if not try Mike Feeney MJP.

sorry you read that as a threat, personally I meant hope you dont have to ask for help because then you will adding to the problem you are trying to highlight, welcome to the world of the Z32.

There is no need to raise the image of the Zed as far as I can see, it can be a bit daunting at times but I have never owned a car before that turns heads so much, you would normally have to spend so much more money for this compliment alone, hope you dont get a problem you feel the urge to ask about on here you will need these guys help for sure.

As far as the electrics are concerned, the drivers is already electric and the plugs are all the same AFAIK, you wanted to put an electric passengers seat in all you need is a permanent live, the earth is already there, Richard.
