  1. Very nice looking Metallic Grey Zed with silver graphics down the side and Stillen decal on the back, passed you in traffic on the A12 at Witham Good Friday, looked like your co-pilot was map reading, I was the bloke on the GSXR motorbike that passed and had a good look at your motor, very sweeeeet ;) ;)
  2. I paid a lot less than £3500 :D :D

    Another Ipswich man here !!!!
  4. I have all the paperwork from the auction house in Japan for mine, it was 200,000 Yen so thats about £1000, not a SWB but still pretty cheap over there, and that was one and a half years ago.
  5. Mine was on the quay waiting to be shipped over when I bought it from their website, the description they gave was honest and the car has been 100% trouble free since I took delivery. I spent ages looking for the right example in this country and finally gave up and went this route but it is very scarey buying a car you have never actually seen.
  6. Brought mine through Autoadvan with no problems mate.
  7. Thanks for that Dave, I will be at JAE this year to show her off, are you planning to go to any other shows this year?
  8. Hi Dave, the car goes into the bodyshop tomorrow morning, having a full respray, Stillen headlight panel, 99 spec front and rear lights and spoiler obviously, still undecided wether I should get the stonechip on the sills smoothed???? . Should get her back in 2 weeks so can get some pics up then. Was just wondering if anyone would want the centre piece of your old spoiler as I am not using it now (part that covers the holes etc), do you mind if I post one of your pics on here to see if its of use to anyone? Cant wait to get it all done and back home to drool over

I wouldnt charge anyone to use my conzult, I reckon AndyP is closer but if all else fails I am sure we can sort something out mate.

Best way is with a conzult, you could try pulling the coil packs one at a time and listening to the engine, maybe a good clean of the connections is all thats needed.
  11. Has the TPS been set up properly, I have seen one which was doing something similar where the TPS reading was correct but when we disconnected to reset the TPS the setting was completely out and once setup properly it stopped the problem.
  12. Nice bike, if it were a GSXR like mine then I would say go to msn.com/GixerCrew which is pretty much the same as here but for the GSXR, im sure theres one out there for the CBR try a search on google.
  13. Today I ordered from Luke 99 spec rear lights, new trim that goes up the windscreen and along the roof, new scuttle panels, 4 vented headlight panel and clear rear bumper lenses, she goes into the bodyshop in 2 weeks for a respray and to fit the rear spoiler which I bought off davesnewzx a year ago which is costing me a scarey amount of money, I am keeping her the origional colour as red is best :nana2: and I will fit the chrome inserts for the front headlights ready for when she is finished, then it will be time to work on the engine, I know being an NA limits me a bit but going for stillen headers, underdrive pulley and chip to start with, I just cant wait, people keep telling me she looks gorgeous now but I am hooked on the Zed.
  14. I was quite surprised to find its only held on by glue and the 2 number plate screws to be honest, now wondering if im better off taking the whole thing off cleaning up and doing it properly, double sided tape sounds the easiest way all I want is for the thing to be stuck once and for all as I am sure if it came unstuck when im at speed it would catch in the wind and rip it in half.
  15. This item is a Stillen skirt so I guess its GRP plastic certainly didnt look like fibre glass so Tigar seal should do it then?
  16. Hi all, my rear bumper underskirt has come away on one side, looks like they are glued on, does anyone know whay they use to do this and where I can get it from????
  17. The globes look frosted because they are probably very dirty, do a search on here, there are ways to clean them up a bit without dismantling them, but for the best results take them out strip them and do it properly, have the inserts chromed and fit a HID kit, did mine like that, expensive but they are the best lights ive ever seen on a car now.
  18. oh yes red shiney zeds, the slickest of the slick mmmmmmm come on you red boys lets show em whos boss
  19. I live just off Norwich Road, think I may have passed you a while ago near Asda in Ipswich, as far as the dials go I would have to agree with Chris its better to get the right dials to start with, I believe the Zcentre do the correct items but not reverse glow I believe, I may be wrong ?? there was a group buy in December for Indiglo ones may be another in the near future as this group buy was very popular, if your going to mod your car are you doing it yourself or are you getting someone local to do the work? would love to see it some time. :)
  20. I have the Indiglo dials on the way thanks to Vijay and already got the chrome rings waiting to go on with them will look so cooooooooool
  21. cool as well  need some chrome rings from DTA to go with them tho
  22. Chris mate, clear up a bit of space in your inbox shes full up
  23. the main thing you get with membership is a great bunch of mates and all the help you could ask for, well worth the £20, you will also get a couple of windows stickers and access to the private forums bud
  24. They will fit but the speed will be reading wrong as they only go up to 160 mph for the American market.
  25. £100 plus VAT, maybe a possiblity of a club discount if theres enough out there that want it done????
