  1. Hello mate, just wondered if you had been doing some modelling work in your spare time lately??????
  2. Todays pictures, see you still recognised your old spoiler after all this time Dave, and yes, work permitting I intend to get to a few shows and meets.
  3. I dont suppose anyones got a picture of their car with this line filled and smoothed have they?
  4. Heres a couple of pictures from the bodyshop, car should be back with me next week, cant wait :hyper: went to get a replacement pin stripe that goes along the sills and Nissan want £60 !!!!! :xxx: :xxx: what a rip off, how much profit do they want to make??? will be going to Partco tomorrow me thinks.
  5. I bought a pair of silvertec ones from Motor World for £5.99, not sure if you have one near you but that was the best deal I could find.
  6. Either disconnect the battery or remove the error code via Conzult.
  7. All my family said I would kill myself, I am the only one of 6 children that took to biking and I came close to doing it in 2000 due to high speed and a lampost but I recovered and ended up back on a bike so I guess that tells you how much I love it, but, if I was made to choose between selling me bike or Z, think it would be time to hang up me leathers, this car has really got to me.
  8. Theres also Chris@getgreddy and DTA that I know of, I think for a chip alone you are looking at about £65 plus fitting. Chris I believe offers a service where you send your ecu and he sends one back already fitted.
  9. Well my Z has been in the bodyshop for the past 3 weeks and I am bored as fook so thought I would post up some pics of my bike instead.
  10. Mines now being done and the bill will be in the region of £1500, having a respray in the same colour, no rust or damage to repair, £500 is a bargain as long as they are doing it properly (I was always told there is no such thing as a bargain tho), I went round and got 6 quotes before I chose who would get the job, prices ranged from £800 to £1500. the main criteria for me was that the job was done 100% satisfactorily.
  11. well with inflation now I guess it might be 142 ;)

btw, I found it impossible to do without a crowsfoot spanner, other than that just the lack of space made a straight forward job a little awkward.

  16. Forgot to mention, of course this was done on my private test track. :D
  17. If they are the same keys I enquired about then they have been machined by the same company that produced them for Nissan years ago and are titanium OE spec.
  18. No prices, I will be sourcing everything through the traders on here and using their knowledge as to what is best, have already made a few enquiries.
  19. The figures from Stillen with horsepower gains is available online somewhere, just looking for it now.
  20. Hi speedemon, mine currently has Blitz induction, kakimoto cat back exhausts and hard pipe kit and has hit 145mph, I have a chip from DTA to fit, then looking into headers, decat and underdrive pulley so will see where that gets me, may go further as I am looking to get her to about the same speed as a standard TT if possible, personally I want to do this with NOS but that is through personal choice. So far I have spent most time replacing things like PCVs, S2 PTU replacing all connectors etc, all that is sorted now so the big work begins.
  21. Alot of people seem to dislike the Clifford but I had the G5 650 fitted over a year ago with no problems and I am very happy with it. I went round a few local company and was offered Toad Clifford and a few others, mostly the same price and spec but I paid particular attention to who was fitting it and how good his work seemed and this was the deciding factor in which I chose and I believe I made the right choice, no false alarms and microwave sensors for when the roof is off.
  22. Dave are you fitting just clear indicators or clearing both? I seem to remember you saying something about doing both? I did mine with a hot air gun.
  23. I have both, the NA is my daily drive and never fails to start and run perfect **touch wood** still reasonable on the performance front about 20MPG on average and she does about 50 miles a day, my TT has been playing up for nearly a year and I am now giving up on her and spending some money to make the NA hopefully as fast, dont write the NA off like I hear so many say on here.
  24. You have hit the big time now matey, I went from Southampton to Crystal Palace then home to Ipswich that morning and the traffic was a nightmare :headvswal :headvswal so glad I was on me bike, yours was the only Z I saw in all those miles so we still have an exclusive club. :hyper: :hyper:
