Certainly sounds like the TPS, I had to reset mine before adjusting, first time I adjusted it to the correct settings but it was shifting all over the place, reset it and adjusted again and all was sweet.
  2. Ok, been out in the rain but hopefully sorted it, seems that as the car was in the bodyshop so long the battery went flat and they jump started it, this blew the constant live fuse, hence the radio and heater continually lost memory, it also caused the door open warning light to slowly go out, cant think why, but it did, and jump starting it sent a spike to the alarm and that is now drawing too much current, they are going to reprogramme the alarm tomorrow, all is well again.
  3. Hi Jack, she has been in Ipswich Vehicle Refinishers, had the whole car sprayed, looks lovely but took ages.
  4. Just been back outside looking at her and I have also noticed that the clock and heater module is resetting it self when I turn the ignition off even tho the battery has not been taken off?????? I turn the heater up to 40 and its goes back to 25 when I turn the ignition on again???
  5. Earth is fine, even has a grounding kit kitted
  6. When I close the door on my car, the warning light on the dash slowly goes out, I am sure before that this light just went straight out when the door was close. I am trying to trace an electrical fault and just wondered wether I am wrong and it always slowly dimmed, or if this may be something to do with it, anyone? The fault I have is a drain on the battery after being off the road for 9 weeks, also noticed I got a slight shock off her when I got out and the interior light bulb had blown when I got her back. Are these all linked? Any help out there?
  7. I've got 2 as well, and one is a blank
  8. This was a rare item as it was no longer available, its recently become available in the USA and some have made there way over here, origionally all the 300ZXs came with a titanium key but a lot have been lost or kept by origional owners over the years.
  9. I am very very pleased, hopefully going to do some pictures tomorrow, these high heels are killing so I cant do any this evening :p :p
  10. You guys are making me sound like a troublemaking, cross dressing perv, someones been talking :x: :x: :x: Got me car back :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: yeeha
  11. Oiiiiiiii
  12. Went out today to the bank, as it was not raining I thought I would walk it, well by the time I had got home I wished I had taken my car. First thing to happen, as I am walking along minding my own business, a kid of about 14 walking along a side street with his eyes closed walks right into me, this sort of thing happens, but for him to then turn and launch a torrent of verbal abuse at me for no reason especially as it was him that walked into me I just dont understand, at one point I clenched my fist to smack this little **** then thought, no, I will probably end up down the station for hitting a minor so I had to walk away gritting my teeth while I was still being called all sorts of names. Next walking along the underpass into the town centre, a bloke about 19 purposely walks right infront of me, stops and stares at me I push past so he sucks his lip at me and says some weird non english sounding shit, again I want to turn round and deck him, but I have learnt that this type now carry knives more often than not from a past experience. Anyway go to the bank and think to myself I will walk back through the park, cant get any hassle there, as i am walking along I come up behind 3 girls, I could see the fact that a bloke on his own walking behind them in a large wooded park was making the nervous as they kept gingerly looking behind and had gone quiet, so I then turn up a different path going completely the wrong direction just so they wouldnt be worried. I am sat here thinking just how sad it is that all these things happen so much and sorry you guys, just got to get it off my chest. Anyway, I am now going to pick up my car from the bodyshop so perhaps today aint so bad after all.
  13. Thanks guys, makes me feel a bit better about all the money its cost, I have gone for 99 spec lights front and rear, clear side repeaters, clear rear bumper side markers and replaced every piece of exterior trim with new items (thanks to Luke) next step is bling that engine bay .. :hyper: :hyper:
  14. Hi James, the Stillen rear has not been modified at all the exhausts fit through them perfectly just as they are, I am still in 2 minds wether to go for side skirts as well, what ones did you go for? also, I currently have a local company making some custom fit glass fibre enclosures for the subs I got off you last year, got so many things that have been sitting about that are finally getting fitted.
  15. Well after 9 weeks looks like I am picking up my Zed tomorrow afternoon after a full glass out respray, and from what I saw today I am extemely happy with the finish, DavesNewZX, if you read this, here is your old spoiler finally painted and fitted to my car, must be getting on for a year since I got it, what do you think???? :D :D will do some decent pictures once she finished in a nice location.
  16. I can tell you one, just about anywhere in Crystal Palace, i have big problems with my alarm there, was talking to an RAC man once who said the big radio mast there accounts for 75% of their call outs as it blocks the signal from alarm remotes.
  17. Dont forget to post your results up for us all, there is a thread on here for it if you do a search matey.
  18. There you go bud .... LWB Auto - 3,516 Ibs (1594 kg)
  19. Has it got or had in the past a Speed Camera laser detector, sometime an exterior sensor is fitted just behind the front number plate as that is where the laser is pointed.
  20. This was a personal auction on ebay not a company, had been watching them and they seem to go for about £330ish, I chose Road Angel as its wasy to transfer from car to bike, shops usually sell these for about £390, I was lucky as it was a personal auction not a company it went for less than £300.
  21. Found this on ebay, hope its not anyones on here, but personally I am lost for words think it comes close to the worst rear spoiler I have seen so far. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18238&item=4549934950&rd=1
  22. The Zcentre one came with the vents already cut, but the mounting holes needed to be drilled which is the easy part, for me the curved part at the top which goes along the front edge of the bonnet wasnt right, it was too curved if you know what I mean, I think it is best to fit it before painting and have a look, then you can sand it down a bit if it needs it, I have spoken to others that bought them off ebay and had no problems, so maybe I was just unlucky.
  23. Due to the amount of speed cameras and vans I have seen in the last month I bought one of these off ebay, hooked it up and went out this morning past a known camera and it works a treat, even passed a camera van while out and it picked up the laser straight away so I am happy, these are expensive, but I need my license for my job and its just too easy to get caught now even when not being silly.
