I was bought up on 2strokes you cant beat the smell and noise in my opinion. And a 125 4 stroke I would think is going to sound pretty much pants.

But these cheap copies fall apart after the first 100 miles and are worth nothing when you want to sell them, personally I would go buy a Kawka KDX125, ride it till you pass then you could either sell it or take it out round a dirt track, best fun you will have on a Sunday bar taking the Zed for a spin of course.

There is the CBR125 thats a 4stroke by Honda made to look 600ish, or if you go and get bike trader there is loads of traders in there selling copies with names like Hongdu etc.

Must admit I thought that but its still on there, you bolt it on where the bell housing would be.

The bolts are 10mm just in case you need to know.

I put an engine from a z onto a stand yesterday, they are bloody heavy and would be a nightmare to do while a few blokes are holding it but not impossible I guess, I used an engine crane to get it to the correct height then bolted it up, the bolts go about an inch into the engine to give you an idea of the bolt length you need.

Its all about showing your in control of the bike mate, you were unlucky with the weather but dont let it put you off, go for it again asap, its worth it. ;) ;)

You could try speaking to Mike at MJP Eastern autos, hes a trader on here, he can order them in new and may well know all the different types, then there is AndyZ at super car parts and David at RicerocketUK (also traders on here that break cars) for used BMC.

Just checked, Dot 5.1 is fine, Dot 5 is silicone ;) ;)

I thought there was Dot 5 and Dot 5.1, one is silicone and you should keep away, the other is just an improvement on the Dot 3/4

I know that Petrolheads NW does them, and probably if you ask a lot of other traders on here do, they are probably just not on their websites.

the needle doesnt go back in on the stop pin it goes a bit further round, see vinis reply it might help explain it better.

I Pulled The Needle Off While Holding The Pin With Thin Nosed Pliers So The Pin Didnt Come Out But There Seems To Be A Little Play In It Help!!!!!!!11 You say you held the pin so it didnt come out but did you let go of the pin at any point before putting the needle back on? if you did theres your problem.

Yes Halfrauds sell them. I know some people go for 2 sets but my thinking was if they were going to spend time getting 1 set off then they cant have been too worried about getting caught and would spend the extra bit of time on the other set as well.

McGuard seem to be the best rated, personally I have 1 set, if someone really wants the wheels they will have them no matter what, but 1 decent set should put off the local chavs.

I paid £280 for my series 2 heated leather including rear seat in very good condition, trouble is I believe right now there is a couple of people selling their leather seats with no takers so far so if you want to sell them you are going to have to sell for less unless your lucky.

Whatever is decided count me in as well.

Local motor factors like Partco is probably the best place to get it.

I think as standard the trims are black but over the years the black coating cracks and comes away revealing the chrome underneath, as for the scuttle panels, the choice is yours, new ones are available from Z centre as are new roof trims. Theres a link somehwere for spoiler removal, do a search and u will find it, if not i will have a look for you.
