  1. Or get some plain black mats and take them to your local friendly carpet store, I had some, they sent them away and had them stitched with a logo from a picture I printed and it looked professional, Im no good with a needle and thread ya see.
  2. 4 tickets please paid via paypal
  3. Dave, hopefully (fingers crossed) the car is going into the bodyshop at the begining of 2005 and I will be able to show off your old spoiler, having the stone chip at the bottom smoothed as well. Will get some pictures up for you once its done.
  4. Yes just took the old reverse light bulb out and put a red one in, then run a wire to it from the switch, fairly easy job really.
  5. Why is it usually the American versions that got the goddam ugly interiors, looked on ebay.com before at the Zeds, boy do you need sunglasses to sit in some of them. :hurl: :hurl:
  6. jealous mode    very nice indeed
  7. I bought a red bulb from Wilco just 79p for 2 bulbs, bargain, hope that aint the same head unit, best talk to James300 as I got it off him :nelson:
  8. That power hold switch is something till now I have not had to use, might be snow soon so I better read up how to work it
  9. This has been posted before but for any new members that want a fog light switch that looks better than the usual toggle type here is mine fitted this morning, if anyone wants details on where to get it from and price I will look it up for you.
  10. To be honest it depends on what type of paint you are going to use, how many coats you want to put on and wether you want to do all the engine bay door shuts etc.
  11. oh dear, if Zed prices werent bad enough I think you have just lobbed another £500 off their values :headvswal well at least off the imports values, lucky im not selling up .
  12. Well everyone knows the NA sounds better so thats obviously why :hyper: I have an NA with Kakimoto race exhausts and Blitz induction but im in Ipswich, if you cant find anyone more suitable I would love to help.
  13. Hi, dont suppose you have a link for the clear lense material you used I have been searching ebay.com but cant find it, thanks.
  14. Has anybody ordered the above or know where they are available from as its Christmas and the wife just asked what I wanted :hyper:
  15. No im afraid it wont automatically recalibrate to work with your new lumiglow dials cos it aint going to know they are on there ..
  16. Hi Dave, yes I am planning on having it smoothed and then the spoiler put on hence the wait as its going to cost a bit more than I first planned and I keep spending money on other things as you know, I have just bought the rear black plastic infil from the Zcentre so I am getting there, will meet you at some show next year hopefully so you can see.
  17. No, like I said in the earlier post I took each individual guage out of the new UK series II cluster and put them into my old series I cluster so making the connections on the back the same as origional, no need to change the wiring and all works as it should to UK spec, ie it now reads miles on the odometer and MPH on the speedo with no converter.
  18. I fiited a set of series II clocks to my car which is a series I and the only difference I saw was the 2 connections on the back.
  19. If you take the guages out of the UK cluster and put them in your Jspec cluster they will work to UK standard and this will resolve the wiring differences, I think its been discussed before and the difference is just series I and II.
  20. Mine also did this, there is a warning chime that alerts the driver when he gets to about 75 miles an hour, (Jspec thing) when I converted mine with a set of UK clocks the chime stopped at the higher speed but went off when I stopped, easily cured http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/Alarm.htm
  21. Yes, John Dixon has jogged my memory, it was a series II but easy to swap over just a few screws and its done, if you got them for a tenner then thats a real bargain, I paid nearly £100
  22. Had the same problems, from memory I took the dials out of the UK spec cluster and put them in my old cluster and all works to UK spec, HTH.
  23. No, they are different, best thing to do is change the calipers for tt ones then you can take your pick of discs, easy job, done mine a month or two ago.
  24. Im pretty sure the paint match will be better, these guys mix the paint for your local body shop and have to get good paint matches, Harry mostly employs teenagers that dont really care, last paint I got was Aztec red from Standox and it was a very good match.
  25. If you look on the plate on the slam panel under the bonnet it will have the paint code, for the best match go to a motor factors to buy it, if you need it in an aerosol some motor factors can mix it then put it in an aerosol,HTH Richard.
