  3. Try harder, you should be aiming to get about 200 miles to a tank, at 250 you are still driving like a girlie .... :p :p
  4. Mines not quite got to 200 mph yet :p :p still pretty quick though for an oh so lowly NA. ;)

I would just leave it and flush it again in the morning, I believe these flushes require a certain amount of heat and pressure in the water to work and there has been loads of posts on here in the past about why not to use flushes and additives. If you still want to use a flush put it in when you refill the engine first time and run for 15 mins then flush it out. Do a search on here first though to see what problems and thoughts other people have on flushes etc.

Nice one, you have been busy, now an oil change is easy compared to this, and seeing as you will want it done a couple of times a year your best off watching Ryan do it then have a go yourself ;) ;)

as for the antifreeze, if you put it all in first you may find you can only get a ltr or two of water in, your better off mixing it before you put it in, or doing a ltr of antrifreeze, then a ltr of water ....

Read it and that is so you get the coolant into the heater matrix but as yours is bypassed you can forget about it.

No doesnt have to be distilled, but if you are as fussy as me you use it as it only cost £2.50 for a gallon from any parts store, if not tap water will do the job and its not really that big a job, any decent garage will do it if you are really bothered about it.

If the matrix is bypassed you dont need to touch the heater, as for the air con I dont know of any reason why you would need to do anything with that, maybe someone else can shed some light on that, but I have done a few flushes and refills now and not touched the air con and had no problems, hardest part is getting air out of the system.

ok simple terms, take hose off rad, shove a hosdepipe in and run water through system then refix hose on rad, mix that lot with distilled water and pour it in slowly, once full, with heater on and bleed screw on rad open run engine and top up as needed to get rid of any air in the system.
  17. Never heard of him but sounds like a top bloke, shame that at some point someone will rip him off and he wont do it again, still its a sign of the times you know, am I sounding old yet? cos if not I could start going on about how in my day .......... ;)
  18. Mine was an alternator, other than that it has been very reliable and used daily.
  19. I have the glass available seperately should it be needed.
  20. Anything is possible but it would cost more than the car is worth probably.
  21. No its not sealed, can be taken apart once off the car.
  22. A mix of 50 - 50 antifreeze and distilled water is best.
  23. Didnt think of them, anyone know exactly what to ask for, if I say pipe for an oil cooler I have no doubt they will say what sort.
