  3. Its a stressful time moving, so good luck bud, hope the new place doesnt have a bay window :p :p
  4. Thats a very mature and sensible reply ...... I am in shock
  5. Was a bit bored and been surfing around different 300ZX websites and saw a picture of my car on the The Australian 300ZX Owners Association, I'm impressed, she has worldwide fame   , god I must be bored I have started posting drivel.
  6. Surely it will be a bit uncomfortable running in a cam belt, i guess wearing it like a belt and jogging will be the best way.
  7. Ahh, the ZX candy store, I suffer from that, let Ryan look at the car before you worry and you own one of the coolest cars on the planet now so everything will be ok.
  8. Nice one, cheers James.
  9. Ok, I am an ex mechanic and its hard to say from what you have told us but my initial thoughts are it may be expensive   should have said that but I was trying to do 10 things at once as usual and didnt think properly, cant have scared you that much tho as you are talking about bodykits now
  10. Glad to hear you are planning on being a long term owner, if the rest of the car is good and the engine needs major work it might be better getting it repaired as then you know the engine is sorted, Ryan will be able to advise you on what should be done. Having spent a small fortune getting my car how I want it I can tell you there is no better feeling than driving along on a summers day with the roof off, all those looks make you feel good. People love the car and women find you irrestistable...  well they do in my dreams anyway.
  11. Any car can break down / blow up, bear in mind the type of car you are buying and just enjoy it, if it goes wrong get it repaired, plenty of TLC and you will be happy with the car like so many others on here.
  12. Try Ricerocket or AndyZ, both traders on here, or there is probably a couple on here that are breaking their car in items for sale that may be able to help you.
  13. If your only 33 miles from Ztech take it there, but bear in mind that he is well booked up so you might be using the Saab for a bit, and prepare for a fairly big bill as that sounds quite bad, personally I couldnt even guess what it could be I am afraid. Sorry to hear your bad news and I hope it doesnt put you off ownership and once its repaired properly it will be a lovely car.
  14. Lack of oil is always dodgey, especially as the autobox on these cars is a bit of a weak point, keep an eye on the oil level and see what colour it is, should be reddish, if it goes brown and smells burnt could be a bad sign I am afraid.
  15. Hi ya bud, just wondered who did the louvers on your bonnet, or does anyone know who else can do these?
  16. Its behind the trim next to the rear seat on the passenger side
  17. Hi Vijay, the inverter is no quieter when it is wired up to the relay but once everything is back in it is not as noticable as when it was in the roof lining, saying that the slight hum was never a real problem so its staying there. Did notice that I am getting an electrical shock when I get out of the car now though, I know the wiring I have done it all good so it could be anything.
  18. Lots of people have removed these, some for cosmetic reasons, others as it may help to keep the engine cooler, not heard of anyone having problems and I certainly have not had any problems.
  19. Took mine off and the respray was done a couple of months ago with no signs of heat damage.
  20. I will go wiring them up and let you know if the inverter is any quieter :)
  21. Just went to do this and noticed that the red/black wire is constantly live and the red/white wire is live when the door is shut, I am no good with electrics but thought I was looking for red black to be live when door is open and the other to be an earth point?
  22. Just read through this and what a laugh but you really are taking it too seriously, hes young, owns a nice car and possibly got a shag in it as well, good on ya, as for racing other cars, although you need some lessons if you cant beat a Fiesta take it easy, its a powerful car and we dont want to read about you wrapping it round a lampost and possibly hurting yourself bud. Im old but can still just about remember what it was like to be young. I had to "court" in a Mk 1 Escort, at least your shag mobile has a bit of style.
  23. Just finished a 12 hour night shift, back in tomorrow evening at 7 till 7 Monday morning, I hate it and your right it ****s your health up.
  24. Link doesnt seem to work for me
