  1. Can you not add to it and build the back up? You’re going to need to respray the spoiler/spoiler whatever you do. May aswell look at building it up before ripping it off as it does look good.
  2. Well I haven’t got round to it yet. I got “stitched” up with my poorly kids two weeks ago (being self employed is great, just don’t tell the wife when you’ve got a slow week planned). Then the grandparents were poorly last week so I had to have them again last week. Looking after kids is hard work, give me a regular job any day!!! As for the rusty bracket, Jim has just had my front end off and I’m sure he would have said something if there was a problem back there.
  3. Hi Brillo. Looking forward to seeing pics of your new 300ZX. Good luck with the project.
  4. That door card looks like it’s come up a treat!!!
  5. This is another job I’ve got to do when I get a change. Was it ok on the rear screen and the heating element?
  6. Wire wool worth remembering but I wouldn’t trust myself with a Stanley near the rubbers.
  7. Cheers Joe, I also use this stuff all the time.
  8. How you doin? Don’t worry about things like that! Look I’m having a party tonight, why don’t you come along and meet a few friends of mine. By the end of the week I’ll have plenty of work for you.:innocent:
  9. It’s the outside that has the issue.
  10. What you guys did to gain a bit more attention on “our” stand is up to you and you conscious. Personally after the 3 visits to the toilet I was able to tolerate it and next year I won’t be show shocked! :scared:
  11. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for cleaning off the muck around the outside edge of the rear screen where the glass meets the seals? I tried cream cleaner which didn’t make much difference then stepped it up to T-cut which made a bit more of an impact. The bits where I did get some results really brought the glass back to life. :cool3: Cheers, Chris.
  12. A mate of mine showed me a website that showed how many UK 300 we’re still on the road and sorn. It wasn’t very many so I would not be surprised if a least one of them has gone to the scrapyard for one reason or another.
  13. Lol, I can hardly control myself.
  14. Very cool, thanks!!! So let’s do a bit of willy waving. Who has the “newest” UK Z? I have 1369 of 1548. :tongue_smilie:
  15. Thanks for the tip. Hopefully that will become clearer to me when I start taking it off.
  16. Yep, it doesn’t look hard. :thumb: I’ll take the front bumper off and it’ll give me a good opportunity to give everything a good clean behind it. Do you want first dibs on the mesh Si?
  17. Perfect, thanks Andrew Not sure how it’s fitted Si, I didn’t put it on.
  18. I’m hoping to get the front bumper off this week to remove the mesh that’s been fitted to it. Is it a straight forwarded job, any tricky screws and should I start at a specific point? Cheers, Chris.
  19. :flowers: Sorry precious, your post is still there giving people advice (if not a surprisingly good recipe if someone wants to try it?)
  20. Lol, that gear is probably the worst I’ve seen.
  21. If the original rear lights are a clean as the rest of the car then I think you should sell them. Did I say that I’m after a good set?
  22. It’s going to take days to pick the hedgehog out that engine bay.
  23. You can get all sorts of flavours built in now to keep the old wives happy.
  24. So in that picture you posted of the spoiler it showed all the clips, nuts and bolts and a stop that runs along the bottom of the spoiler. Did you buy these parts or were you able to save the parts removed from you original spoiler?
