Anyone over the Bridge fancy grouping up with us lot In Cardiff this Sunday? Welsh Meet...Jncn 33, 2pm, Sun 12th.

Anyone know if there is a quick way to find a ride or must you trawl page by page to find the users car you want to view?? People refer to rides in varius posts but i seem to have to trawl through this section rather than searching for a 'user id' as a key word like i do in other sections for example.... Any advice?

I can understand the reasoning, but the logic leans toward "Fur coat and no knickers"! However, I drive an oil burner now as a daily runner, and the modern unit under the bonnet 'can', ;-) ,be chipped to give far more BHP than its equivalent petrol counterpart. It has bags of torque and the six speed box helps it to sound smother than the z at higher speeds and i'm more comfortable driving that at higher speeds on the Autobahn, ;-), than the Z.... Based on the VW EOS example, for performance, i'd rather a TDi than a GTi unit anyday...

Ian...as far as i'm aware there's no specific aircon ECU.....although it can be adjusted using Conzult- i think for things like flow to specific areas in the car like doors Vs floor Vs Screen etc, but this is done through the ConZult application and not direct access to the ECU. The Conzult plug in is accessed via a plug under the drivers dash!

Better to have a nice smooth drive for 5 mins before home or the petrol pump, air over the rads, coolers that cool the water and oil which results in less heatsink...

You could hire a VW Transporter TDi 130...Flying machines.....Cardiff to Newcastle and back in a day for a boot previously, and they're a pleasure to drive which is why i went via the A49 Cardiff to Warrington! ;-) .....Plus you can throw a bed in the back for the weekend at Brands Hatch!! ;-)

I think your 350Z wheels have got to be worth 2K?! Hold out with the insurance co and get some independant advice from your own engineer if needs must! Good luck mate and hope you get it sorted.

I can't make this one guys as i'm off to Glasto tomorrow! Defo at the next one and the kettle is always on if i'm in and anyones passing the door! One thing i would have asked at the meet and someone might know is that I learned a while ago that BA send all aircraft seats to Blackwood for re-trim etc...they service seats up there and Electronics in the depot in Llanrisant...Just a thought but anyone know any decent re-trimmers who work up at their Blackwood factory or that lives nearby and can ask about??!! Handy to have one for the club and even handier if someone in our neck of the woods does something! Meet you all at the next one....

Martin, Would normally be there in my Golf if my Z isn't back in time, but i'll be heading for Glastonbury on the Thursday so won't be there this time ;-( Defo at the next one and if i get my Z back in the next few weeks will be up for any mini meets even mid week.

I am in total shock at this news as i've not been on here for a while having lost my Grandfather last week and being in Ireland. That was far easier to accept as i he had lead a good long life. I only met jay once a few weeks ago when i bought some parts off him and collected them in person on my way back from ZTech. I was with my Father at the time, and he even commented on what a nice young man Jay was. They had a little in common as contract engineers and were nattering about the subject and his tools in the garage etc whilst i was there. ( He had also hunted the garage high and low to retrieve two bolts that went with the strut brace i bought rather than let me go away empty handed and source my own!...A true Gent..) All i can say is that i'm an excellent judge of character and in the short time i had communicated with him on the parts i bought, for directions to his house, and whilst i was there he was a truly genuine fellow, and i sensed a very helpful young man. My thoughts at the moment go out to his family and partner Zena. I am thinking of you all. Damian.X

Stellaz...Think they've retrimmed the centres at some point. Mines a 92' Uk model with 150k on the clock and my trim is near perfect bar the bolster wear on the drivers side...... Time for a retrim?!
