  1. right so its not soo simple dam it. :( Hmmm i did read a thread on here about straping them to the rear shock mounts i think, but i dont think the straps will reach that far. What about a rear strut bar?
  2. Who has these fitted? Show me your pics and fitting locations thanks. Im looking at buying (yes more spending) some omp seats with harnesses. Im thinking i can strap them to the original front inside belt bolt(tranmission tunnel) and then to the rear seat belt locations, but what will i do about the outside strap? mine is jap spec and its on the door ggrrrrrr. Does anyone happen to know if there is a hole or bolt location on that side i could use? Or do i have to weld a plate and nut there? One other thing, who has omp seats fitted? where did you get brackets from or did you have to fabricate some?
  3. did ya leave feedback then? If you havent then threaten to leave negative feedback if they dont compensate you for thier mistake but obviously speak to them first to see if they will compensate anyhow :D it worked for me when i recieved a faulty stretched rod bolt in my eagle rod kit. But that was becasue the seller had 100% positive feedback.
  4. have you left feedback yet?
  5. theres no point in cleaning them from the outside, unless you mean taking them apart and cleaning all the hard carbon which has settled over the years then yes. That will be a bit complicated and you may as well do a recon if you take it that far. It all gets stuck on the heat shield and on the end of the shaft this is bad as it will increase wear, this is why we use turbo timers to cool the turbo down b4 we turn off the engine as the oil will bubble and burn if you have been giving it some and turn the motor off straight away.
  6. Yeah defo use an electrical one :D buy the gauge, sender and sorted.
  7. I bought the gauge from ebay but i needed a few bits from demon, The pressure senders for most aftermarket applications are within the same range, the only difference is the writing on the gauge i suppose unless there are different tolerances for fuel and oil?. For example you could just but an oil pressure gauge&sender its all relevant and reads the same but why not just buy a fuel pressure gauge & sender? seems like more work fitting bits here and there. Wont set you back much for a good working gauge from ebay anyway.
  8. Its the gauge at the bottom reading 41 psi. heres the sender, I needed to buy a fuel T piece and two red finishers from demon tweeks, i cut into the braided line then plumbed it in. I just ran the ground to a good earth and the other to the gauge. Easy.
  9. Meeee :D i got on wired up inside my car, i plumped in a pressure sender after the fuel filter then wired it threw the firewall to my 3 a pillar pod it works very well :D Ive got a glowshift digi gauge which reads well had no probs yet :D I got a pic somewhere hang on.
  10. i used swan necks, one end on the lip of the injector and the other on the side of the rail bit where it slots in, Does it matter if you damage them or not? you upgrading? coz they might get damaged when taking them out.
  11. To get desired boost at 2500rpm they must be using good downpipes on stock turbos and stock compression ratio  im running slightly less compression on a cometic HG but i think i can achieve higher boost safely but not until i have the turbos to do it with. Is that how it works?
  12. i mean desired boost.... Looks about 3500rpm to me. ;)
  13. Was suppose to be to full boost,,,, start again lol
  14. hmmm interesting. Il have a look at those too.
  15. how mch did the 5300bb's set you back with downpipes mate?
  16. Just curious to see how everyones spool up times vary Mine seems to take rather long at the moment on stock downpipes :( 3500rpm to get to 14psi i know my ebc needs setting up a bit better, havent really had the opportunity to do so yet :( it does however keep pulling all the way up the rev range, 4th gear feels rapid at top end. This is all temporary until i order me some 530BB's :D
  17. look below and in between the plenum and there is a fuel rail they are attached to that.
  18. I keep wondering to myself when will i stop......
